Dyson unveils CameraJet, Nurovi robots and more intelligent machines

Dyson has unveiled a new range of machines built around cameras, artificial intelligence and machine learning, including Dyson CameraJet, Nurovi robot cleaners and a new HushJet air-purifier family. Jake Dyson presented the products at Dyson Unveiled in Berlin on 3 September.

The company calls the shift a move from purely mechanical devices to machines that can understand and respond to their surroundings. “Now we have shifted from purely mechanical devices to intelligent machines that can see, think, and respond,” Dyson’s chief engineer said in the company’s release.

Dyson CameraJet is a camera-equipped toothbrush

Dyson CameraJet combines brushing, liquid flossing and mouthwash dispensing. Its 100,000-pixel macro camera scans 28 images per second, while Dyson’s Gap Optical Targeting system identifies spaces between teeth and triggers a targeted rinse. The system was developed over six years by 661 engineers and trained on more than 470,000 dental images.

Dyson says the connected toothbrush supports live viewing, coverage mapping and guided cleaning through the MyDyson app. It says images are not recorded or stored on the device or in the cloud. The company has not announced a price or launch date in the UAE.

Nurovi brings AI stain detection to robot cleaners

The Nurovi range includes three models. The R3 Spot+Scrub UV combines wet and dry cleaning with UV light, computer vision and green illumination to identify nearly 200 types of household substances and objects. It uses 30,000Pa suction, a 12-point hydration system and a roller that extends 40mm towards room edges.

The R2 Wash+Dry uses Reuleaux triangle pads designed to reach corners, while the R1 Dry has 21,000Pa suction and a system that separates coarse debris from fine dust. Engadget reports US prices of $1,199 for the R3, $699 for the R2 and $349 for the W1 PencilWash, but Dyson has not provided UAE prices.

HushJet, Airsmooth and the updated PencilWash

Dyson is extending its HushJet nozzle design across air purifiers, heaters and coolers. The HushJet Big+Quiet model is the largest of the new range, with a three-stage filter and long-range airflow designed for larger spaces. Engadget reports a US price of $1,099; a UAE price and local release date remain unconfirmed.

The updated W1 PencilWash adds a more absorbent roller, a hygienic waste system and self-cleaning on its dock. The Corrale CoolShine straightener adds active cooling, while the Airsmooth hot brush uses dual bristles and temperature monitoring 100 times per second. Dyson has not confirmed which of the new machines will launch in the UAE or when. Its Dyson Unveiled 2026 page says the event is intended as an early look at products before launches around the world.
