Dyson Corrale CoolShine adds liquid cooling to hair straightening

Dyson has announced the Dyson Corrale CoolShine straightener and Dyson Airsmooth dryer brush at IFA 2026. The new Corrale adds water-filled cooling pipes that pull heat away from hair after it passes through the heated plates, while the Airsmooth uses looped bristles designed to reduce snagging.

The Dyson Corrale CoolShine keeps the original Corrale’s flexing copper plates and heating temperatures of more than 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The new water-filled pipes draw excess heat away as hair moves through the straightener, so each pass heats, straightens and cools the hair.

Dyson says the system is designed to reduce residual heat exposure and leave hair feeling smoother, softer and cooler. The company has not announced UAE pricing or a local release date. The Verge lists a US price of $329, but that figure is not a UAE price. For local context, Dyson has previously launched hair-care products in the UAE, including the Dyson Supersonic Travel at AED 1,199.

Dyson Airsmooth targets snags with looped bristles

The Dyson Airsmooth combines Dyson’s hair-drying technology with a brush attachment for drying and styling. Its teardrop-shaped body is designed to add volume, while two types of looped bristles collapse under tension to release strands instead of pulling on them.

Dyson also says its heat-control system adjusts the temperature 100 times per second to help reduce frizz and heat damage. The Verge lists the Airsmooth at $249 in the US; UAE pricing and availability remain unconfirmed.
