What the Age of Hatred Collection includes
The Switch 2 version is said to be the Age of Hatred Collection: the base game, Vessel of Hatred (2024) and Lord of Hatred, this year’s expansion. A boxed release is planned, billbil-kun says, but it is a code in a box — the cartridge did not make the trip.
When will the Diablo 4 Switch 2 port be announced?
billbil-kun does not know the announcement date, but says pre-orders open September 12 — the day BlizzCon 2026 begins. That points to an announcement on BlizzCon’s opening day. Gamescom’s Opening Night Live (August 25) is the other candidate: Blizzard has appeared at the last three shows, bringing Season of Blood in 2023, the Vessel of Hatred trailer in 2024 and World of Warcraft: Midnight last year.
The port has been an open secret for months. Diablo 4 was rated for Switch 2 in Indonesia in April and in Taiwan in June, and Blizzard has said nothing to contradict any of it. Diablo series head Rod Fergusson told VGC in April 2025 that performance was never the obstacle:
“I think the challenge is less around the hardware and just about how we… you know, live services on Switch have been a little bit challenging in the past.”

A Diablo 4 Switch 2 copy in the UAE will cost whatever local retailers decide. Nintendo has no local eShop region, so Switch 2 games sell through Amazon.ae, Geekay and the usual shelves: Mario Kart World, a $79.99 title, lists at AED 280 on Amazon.ae, so a $69.99 collection should land around AED 240–280. Since it is a code in a box, the box is decorative.
The port joins a third-party Switch 2 line-up that already includes Fallout 4’s anniversary edition, and anyone shopping for the console itself can read up on the UAE-bound Switch 2 revision.
