Nintendo details Switch 2’s big third-party lineup for 2026 and beyond

Nintendo has confirmed dates for a large batch of third-party Switch 2 games in its latest financial update, covering the rest of 2026 and beyond. The headline names: Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition on August 28, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 on August 27, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on October 23.

The list runs deep beyond those. Madden NFL 27 arrives August 13, Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen lands October 9, and Minecraft Dungeons II, Rayman Legends Retold and Hello Kitty Party Land all fill out September and October. On the 2027 side, Final Fantasy VII Revelation is set for Q2, alongside Wo Long 2 and Resident Evil Veronica.

Nintendo also noted there are more third-party titles for Switch 2 in its first year than the original Switch had, with “numerous other titles” in active development. Final Fantasy XIV Online and Lies of P: Complete Edition are already out on the system, and the lineup picks up where June’s Nintendo Direct left off.

For UAE players, the relevant detail is simple: these are global dates, and the games will hit the UAE’s Switch 2 eShop and retail shelves alongside the rest of the world. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is a notable one locally — it skips PS4 for the first time, while still coming to Switch 2.

Local pricing has not been announced for any of the titles yet. The UAE eShop prices typically appear closer to each release date, so there is nothing to report until Nintendo’s regional storefront updates.
