Best Foldable Phones in the UAE (2026 Edition)

By Abbas Jaffar Ali6 min readAug 15, 2026

The best foldable phones in the UAE are no longer experiments. The Galaxy Z Fold8, Honor Magic V6 and OPPO Find N6 are everyday flagships with moving parts; the flip phone survives as the Galaxy Z Flip8, and the Galaxy Z TriFold exists for people who think 8 inches is not enough. Every phone below is on sale in the UAE with a local warranty, and prices were checked for this edition.

If you prefer the more traditional form factor, our best phones in the UAE guide lists the flagships, and the best phones under AED 1000 round-up covers the affordable end.

How we picked

We ranked these seven based on what most buyers actually need: durability, battery, cameras, and price. The 2025 guide’s picks — the Magic V5, Z Fold 7, and Razr 60 Ultra — have been retired from the list and replaced by their successors. Each entry carries a buy/don’t-buy verdict and a live price block, both powered by our ReviewKit product database.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 — the best all-rounder

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is the default answer to “which foldable should I buy”. It is the lightest Fold Samsung has made at 201g, the 4:3 inner display suits video and reading, and it has Samsung’s seven-year update promise plus local warranty everywhere. At AED 7,199 for 256GB it undercuts its own Ultra sibling by AED 800, which makes the value case easy.

Buy it if
  • You want the best book-style foldable in the UAE without paying Ultra money
  • You watch a lot of video and want the wider 4:3 inner screen
  • You want the lightest Fold Samsung has made, at 201g
  • You want a local Samsung warranty on a phone with a moving part
Don't buy it if
  • You shoot photos seriously — there is no telephoto camera
  • You need proper dust protection; IP48 covers water, not fine sand
  • You would rather put the same money into a 512GB model or the Ultra
  • You already own a Galaxy Z Fold7 and are happy with it

Honor Magic V6 — the slimmest and lightest

The Honor Magic V6 is a 217 g book-style foldable that feels closer to a slab phone than anything in this list. IP68/IP69 dust- and water-resistance is rare in this category and useful here. Sustained performance is the weak spot: the CPU throttles under heavy load, and Honor does not put a stylus in the box at a price where Motorola does.

Honor Magic V6 book-style foldable, the slimmest foldable phone in the UAE
Buy it if
  • You want the slimmest, lightest book-style foldable in the UAE — 217g and it feels like a slab phone
  • You want excellent battery life and strong cameras in a premium-feeling body
  • You want IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance — rare among foldables and useful in the UAE
  • You want a hinge that feels precise and a crease that fades into the background
Don't buy it if
  • You need sustained peak performance — the V6 throttles under heavy load
  • You expect a stylus in the box at this price — the Razr Fold includes one, Honor doesn't
  • You hate bloatware — MagicOS ships with preloaded apps
  • You want better-than-average speakers

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra — the productivity pick

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is for people who work on their phones: an 8-inch main screen, a 200MP camera with a 3x telephoto, and a 5,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. It is the most capable foldable in the UAE and the most expensive Samsung here, short of the TriFold. If two full apps side by side is a daily workflow, this is the buy.

Buy it if
  • You want the largest inner display and the best cameras in Samsung's range
  • You run two full apps side by side for most of the day
  • You want close to two days of battery out of a foldable
  • An almost crease-less display is worth AED 800 to you
Don't buy it if
  • You want value — rivals cost less for much the same capability
  • You need S Pen support
  • Fast charging matters; it is still slower than the competition
  • You already own a Galaxy Z Fold7

Motorola Razr Fold — the battery king

The Motorola Razr Fold pairs a 6,000mAh battery with 80W charging — class-leading numbers that deliver a real two-day phone. It also includes the Moto Pen Ultra, which Samsung dropped from its Fold line entirely. Our Razr Fold review scored it 9/10; the asterisks are a stuttering viewfinder and 243g of weight.

Motorola Razr Fold open in hand, a best foldable phone option in the UAE
Buy it if
  • You want the most complete book-style foldable you can buy
  • You want outstanding battery life — 6,000mAh with 80W charging
  • You want a stylus that comes in the box — the Moto Pen Ultra is included
  • You want clean software, strong multitasking and seven years of updates
Don't buy it if
  • You shoot a lot of video — the viewfinder and recording stutter
  • You want a light phone — 243g makes itself known
  • You expect great speakers — they're merely okay
  • You want somewhere to stow the pen — there's no slot or attachment

OPPO Find N6 — the crease-free option

The OPPO Find N6 solves the one thing every foldable buyer worries about: the crease. OPPO’s Zero-Feel Crease hinge and Auto-Smoothing Flex Glass make the inner screen the flattest in the category, and the 200MP Hasselblad camera system records 4K 120fps Dolby Vision. At AED 8,999 for 16GB/512GB it sits between the Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra on price, and its own concerns are a 7-core CPU and a so-so selfie camera.

Buy it if
  • You want the closest thing to a crease-free foldable screen — the Zero-Feel Crease is real
  • You want class-leading battery life and very fast charging — 6,000mAh and 80W
  • You want a 200MP Hasselblad camera system with 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video
  • You want genuine four-app multitasking on an 8.12-inch inner display
Don't buy it if
  • You take a lot of selfies — the selfie camera is the weak point
  • You want maximum benchmark performance — the 7-core CPU trails rivals
  • You care about speaker quality — it is average
  • You need a stylus in the box — the OPPO AI Pen is a separate purchase

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 — the pocketable one

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 is the cheapest way to get into a 2026 foldable in the UAE at AED 4,699, and its FlexWindow cover screen can now run apps without opening the phone. It is a pocket phone first and a foldable second: 180g, 6.1mm unfolded, Exynos 2600. The rumour mill says this may be the last Flip — which makes the current one either a collectable or a reason to wait.

Buy it if
  • Pocketability is the actual point, not a bonus — 180g and 6.1mm folded
  • You want the cheapest foldable that comes with a full local warranty
  • You will use the 4.1-inch FlexWindow for apps, not just widgets
Don't buy it if
  • You want flagship endurance — it is 4,300mAh and 25W charging
  • You want the Snapdragon chip the Folds use; regional sheets list the Exynos 2600 here
  • You want a big screen for multitasking, which is what the Folds are for

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold — money no object

The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold unfolds into a 10-inch display, folds twice, and sells for AED 11,999. It sold out on its UAE launch day and returned in a limited restock, so this is a statement phone in every sense. Buy it because the screen is a genuine phone-tablet hybrid; don’t buy it because you need dustproofing or a spare AED 12,000.

Buy it if
  • You want the biggest foldable screen in the UAE — 10 inches that folds into a pocket
  • You want a phone-tablet hybrid with desktop-class multitasking and DeX
  • You want the most talked-about phone in the region — it sold out on launch day
  • Money is no object — this is the flex of 2026
Don't buy it if
  • You're on a budget — at AED 11,999 it's the most expensive foldable here
  • You worry about durability in Dubai's dust — two hinges are more to go wrong
  • You need it today — stock sells out quickly and restocks are limited
  • You want a pocket-friendly phone — folded, it's thick

What about the Apple foldable?

Apple’s first foldable iPhone is expected in September 2026, and UAE buyers may or may not get it at launch — but nothing official exists yet. We will add it to this guide as soon as there is a UAE price. Until then, the Android foldables above remain the only game in town.

Where to buy foldables in the UAE

Samsung, Honor, Motorola and OPPO all sell through their own UAE stores, Amazon.ae, Sharaf DG and Virgin Megastore. Prices move within weeks of launch — Samsung’s own Fold8 series hub tracks official and street prices as they change.

The best foldable phones in the UAE picture as of 14 August 2026: book-style flagships from AED 6,999, flips from AED 4,699, and the TriFold at the top of the range. Trade-in deals and bundle offers (Bose speakers with the Magic V6, FIFA World Cup 26 editions of the Razr Fold) routinely beat the sticker price, so check the current offers before you buy.

Which is the best foldable phone in the UAE right now?

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is the best all-rounder at AED 7,199: lightest Fold yet, a 4:3 inner screen that suits video, and Samsung’s seven-year update promise. Pick the Honor Magic V6 (AED 6,999) for the slimmest body and best dust resistance, or the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra (AED 7,999) when productivity and the 200MP camera matter more.

What is the cheapest 2026 foldable phone in the UAE?

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 starts at AED 4,699 for 256GB. It is the only current-gen foldable under AED 5,000, and the 4.1-inch FlexWindow cover screen runs apps without opening the phone.

Are foldable phones durable enough for the UAE?

Mostly, with one caveat: dust. The Honor Magic V6 carries IP68/IP69, the OPPO Find N6 IP56/IP58/IP59, while Samsung’s Folds are IP48 — water-resistant but only partially dust-proof. The Galaxy Z TriFold’s dual hinges are the most exposed to sand and grit.

Which foldable phone has the best battery life?

The Motorola Razr Fold and OPPO Find N6 both have 6,000 mAh cells and 80W wired charging. The Razr Fold comfortably reaches two days on moderate use; the Find N6 pairs the same capacity with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Is the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold available in the UAE?

Yes, at AED 11,999 for 512GB from Samsung stores, Samsung.com and e&. It sells in limited batches — the first wave went on launch day and the second restock arrived in January 2026.

When is Apple’s foldable iPhone coming to the UAE?

Apple’s first foldable iPhone is expected in September 2026, but there is no official UAE price yet. This guide will add it as soon as a local price exists; until then, these seven Android foldables are the ones on sale.
