Amazon has added two devices to its Bee personal AI line. Bee Frontier is a wearable you can strap to your wrist or clip to your clothing, and Bee Eclipse is a slim, card-sized attachment that magnetically sticks to the back of your phone. Amazon announced both on 15 October, alongside new links to Alexa+ and Amazon.com.

Pricing and availability

Bee Frontier is available now at Amazon.com for USD 74.99 in Onyx, Lavender, and Sage. Bee Eclipse will be available soon, starting at USD 99.99 in Silver, Midnight, Honey, and Blush. Amazon hasn’t given an Eclipse ship date, and its announcement doesn’t mention the UAE, Saudi Arabia or Egypt, so regional pricing and availability are unconfirmed.

The hardware is only part of the cost. All users get conversation summaries, recaps, and 14-day memory at no additional cost with a device purchase. Bee Pro, at USD 11.99 a month, adds unlimited recent summaries, third-party app integrations, suggested to-dos, daily memories, a personal chat assistant, conversation templates and the desktop app. It also unlocks the Amazon.com and Alexa+ connections. New Bee customers get 30 days of Pro free.

What each device does

Frontier is the successor to Bee Pioneer, the first Bee device. It has an ultra-soft silicone wristband, IP67 water resistance, USB-C charging and up to seven days of battery life. Dual microphones with noise filtering are meant to pick out what matters in places like a crowded restaurant or an open office. A microphone button controls when Bee processes audio, and an indicator light shows when it’s on. You can also set Frontier to switch itself off after a period of silence, such as 5 or 15 minutes.

Eclipse suits people who’d rather not wear anything. Amazon says it’s about the size of a credit card and lasts more than 21 days on a charge. It handles phone calls and in-person chat, and Amazon says users are prompted to get permission from call participants each time recording starts. It uses the same one-button control and indicator light as Frontier.

Both feed the Bee mobile app and a new desktop app. The apps show summaries using templates such as lectures, care plans or brainstorms. Bee connects to Gmail, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook, and after a meeting it can draft follow-up emails or create calendar invites. It also links to Apple HealthKit and your photos.

Alexa+ and Amazon.com links

The new integrations tie Bee into Amazon’s wider ecosystem. Connect it to Alexa+ and you can ask for a meeting summary or check your to-dos hands-free. Your Echo device uses voice ID to confirm it’s you before sharing your Bee insights. Connect it to Amazon.com, and items you mention in conversation can appear as product recommendations on the Amazon homepage and in the Bee apps. Both integrations sit behind Bee Pro.

Privacy

Always-listening hardware raises obvious questions, and Amazon answers them with Bee Private Compute. The company says the architecture processes conversations in an isolated environment that no one, Amazon included, can access. It turns audio into insights in real time and deletes it afterwards. Transcripts are encrypted with keys your device creates and controls, stay visible only to you unless you share them, and can be deleted at any time.

Can I buy Bee Frontier in the UAE?

Amazon’s announcement lists only Amazon.com and US dollar pricing and provides no UAE, Saudi, or Egyptian availability. We haven’t seen a regional listing or price, so check your local Amazon store before ordering.

Do I need a subscription to use Bee Frontier or Eclipse?

Not for the basics. Every purchase includes conversation summaries, recaps and 14-day memory. The Alexa+ and Amazon.com integrations, third-party apps, daily memories and the desktop app need Bee Pro at USD 11.99 a month, with 30 days free for new customers.

Does Bee store my recordings?

Amazon says no. It says audio is processed in real time and then deleted, while transcripts and summaries are encrypted and you can delete them at any time.
