Alienware has announced a 32-inch 4K tandem OLED gaming monitor, the Alienware AW3226Q, which PC Gamer lists at about $699 for autumn 2026.
The same reveal includes the AW2527HX, a 24.5-inch 1080p 560Hz esports OLED co-designed with Team Liquid and due in the first quarter of 2027. Dell has not published an official price for either screen.
PC Gamer reported the pair after Alienware’s announcement, quoting head of product Matt McGowan as aiming at “more price points people can actually reach.”
Alienware AW3226Q: 32-inch 4K tandem OLED
Tom’s Hardware describes a 32-inch RGB Stripe tandem OLED — a four-stack design previously seen on the AW3926QW — with about 1,000 nits peak brightness, a 165Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms response. It lists VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, Dolby Vision, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Nvidia G-Sync support and a built-in USB-C/USB-A hub.
PC Gamer’s spec table also lists 165Hz; its write-up cited 160Hz. The same piece says the panel uses LG’s tandem OLED with RGB Stripe subpixels, and records anti-burn-in technology that uses a “personalized algorithm”, with a three-year warranty in the table.
McGowan, quoted by PC Gamer, called it “stunning for gaming and equally impressive for everyday use.” PC Gamer put the $699 figure against Alienware’s cheaper AW2726DM, a $350 OLED without tandem layers, and against an MSI 5-layer tandem QD-OLED it said sells for more than $1,000. tbreak has already covered Alienware’s push into cheaper hardware, including the 15-inch gaming laptop that arrived in Dubai this year.
AW2527HX: 560Hz Team Liquid esports OLED
Tom’s Hardware puts the AW2527HX at 24.5 inches and 1,920 × 1,080, with a 560Hz refresh rate, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600, a matte finish and DisplayPort 2.1. PC Gamer listed the same model as a 25-inch panel with the resolution still to be announced, and described Penta-tandem OLED, a 0.03ms response, RGB Stripe subpixels and a telescopic stand with a 155mm adjustment range.
Alienware co-designed it with Team Liquid, four-time World of Warcraft Race to World First champions, according to PC Gamer. McGowan called it Alienware’s “fastest monitor ever” and said every detail had been “informed by how pros actually set-up and compete.” Tom’s Hardware adds a graphene sheet to spread heat and limit burn-in, a button to switch between 4:3 and 3:2, a rear headset hanger and a smaller base so a keyboard can sit underneath.
PC Gamer noted that Asus’s ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace is specified at 720Hz and 0.02ms. tbreak covered that ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace Gamescom kit last month. Official pricing for the AW2527HX is due with the Q1 2027 release.
Price, warranty and UAE availability
Tom’s Hardware says both the Alienware AW3226Q and the AW2527HX launch with a three-year OLED pixel burn-in warranty. The 32-inch 4K model is due this autumn; the 560Hz screen is promised for the first quarter of 2027.
The $699 figure for the Alienware AW3226Q is PC Gamer’s. Tom’s Hardware treats official pricing as still to be announced. tbreak has not found a Dell UAE, Amazon.ae or noon listing for either SKU.
Other new OLED gaming monitors, including Samsung’s Gamescom Odyssey OLED trio, are likewise waiting on local prices after a global announcement.
