Abu Dhabi’s winter comedy calendar stretches from Russell Peters in October to Whitney Cummings and Paul Smith in January, with 13 upcoming shows spanning English, Arabic, Hindi, French, and Tagalog. Most take place at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, while The Laughter Factory brings its 30th-anniversary tour to The Club.
The official Abu Dhabi Comedy Season line-up confirms Peters, Mo Amer, Maz Jobrani, Kevin Bridges, Cummings, and Smith among this edition’s performers. Morgan Jay opened the season on 11 October, so his completed appearance isn’t included in the upcoming schedule below.
The National’s winter comedy guide lists the wider selection of shows and their advertised starting prices. That calendar includes events beyond the names on the season’s official artist page, rather than 13 acts all independently confirmed by that page.

Choose a show by language and format
Peters’ audience interactions, Amer’s stories about identity and family, and Jobrani’s political and social humour anchor the early run. The Laughter Factory offers a smaller-venue alternative: its anniversary stop starts at 7pm, away from the arena setting that dominates the calendar.

Radi performs in French and Arabic. Bassi’s Hindi-language show, Kisi Ko Batana Mat, starts at 6pm, followed by Spears at 10pm on the same date. Spears brings celebrity impressions alongside his stand-up material; these are separate performances, not a shared bill.
The following day’s options range from Filipino television comedy to Arabic-language improvisation. Manalo and Bayola’s The Ultimate Dabarkads Comedy combines sketches, music, and audience participation in Tagalog and English. NEMR brings Rampant Disorder as part of MBC Group’s Wagef road tour, while Nader builds his Arabic-language set around conversations with spectators. Nader’s doors open at 8pm; that isn’t a confirmed stage time.
January’s programme returns to English-language stand-up. Bridges brings his Here If You Need Me world tour, with an 8pm start. Cummings’ Big Baby show starts at 6pm, while Smith’s HAPPY follows at 9.30pm on the same date. Anyone planning a double outing should check each event’s ticket and entry terms separately.
Comedy isn’t the only option on the capital’s live-event calendar: BREDx has added regional performers to its Abu Dhabi line-up. For a different UAE outing, Dubai Holding Entertainment’s park and Global Village plans cover attractions rather than stand-up.
Which show allows children without a minimum age restriction?
The National identifies Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola’s afternoon performance as having no minimum age restriction. Check the specific ticket conditions before booking; that policy shouldn’t be applied to other shows in the calendar.
Can audiences use their phones during Amine Radi’s show?
The National describes Radi’s performance as phone-free, with electronic devices secured in pouches during the show. Check the event’s instructions in advance if access to a device is essential.
