Xbox is starting December with a mixed bag of big hitters, indies and odd little experiments. The company confirmed 12 titles to Game Pass in the first half of the month, including Mortal Kombat 1, Marvel Cosmic Invasion and a handful of day-one releases. UAE players with Ultimate or Premium will get the best selection, while Essential subscribers get a slimmer list. Here’s everything landing — and everything leaving — across console, PC and cloud.

The biggest titles landing this month

A couple of names will stand out instantly — the kind of games you usually wait for a sale to justify.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion (Available now — Cloud, Console, PC, Handheld)

Both drop across most platforms, and MK1 landing on Game Pass saves you a hefty purchase. Marvel Cosmic Invasion arrived early on 1 December, and it’s playable pretty much anywhere.

These two alone give the update some weight. Mortal Kombat 1 is still one of the most polished fighters around, and Cosmic Invasion fills that “switch-your-brain-off and blast aliens” gap many players secretly love.

Strategy, roguelikes and quirky indies

If you prefer slower thinking (or pure chaos), this wave offers a few more interesting picks.

Monster Train 2 brings the same card-based roguelike loop people sank hours into, while 33 Immortals lets you raid dungeons with a ridiculous number of players. Spray Paint Simulator is exactly what it sounds like, and Indy’s Great Circle is one for fans of puzzle-adventure games.

These releases add some flavour to the line-up, especially if you like jumping into short gaming bursts.

Horror, puzzles and smaller PC-first games

The mid-month drop leans into niche picks, mostly for PC players.
