WiCi One is a planned wireless eGPU that puts an RTX 5060 Ti beside a laptop and sends GPU workloads over Wi-Fi 7. The California startup says its box can turn a thin laptop into a gaming machine without Thunderbolt, USB4 or a cable running between the two.
PCMag reports that the WiCi One wireless eGPU is being pitched for games, while the company is also targeting local AI, 3D rendering and video work. Tom’s Hardware’s report says the enclosure presents the remote GPU to the client machine through a driver as if it were a local graphics card.
WiCi One wireless eGPU hardware
WiCi’s base configuration combines an NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB of GDDR7 memory, an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H and a 4TB PCIe 5.0 NVMe drive. The company says the storage can hold model weights and reduce repeated transfers for local AI workloads. A higher-end version with an RTX 5090 and 32GB of memory is planned, but its price is not published.

The software has three routes into the box: a virtual GPU driver for existing applications, an SDK for developers and an OpenAI-compatible API. WiCi says games still run on the laptop rather than being streamed as video, although real-world latency and performance will depend on the network and the workload.
WiCi One price and release timing
Early sign-ups are being offered a $1,999 price, while the stated standard price is $2,599. WiCi has only confirmed a Q4 2026 developer preview, with no final release date. The company has also not announced UAE pricing or availability, so there is no AED figure to report yet.
Wi-Fi 7 is doing more work in this design than simply connecting a laptop to the internet. Can WiCi One work with any laptop?
WiCi says its virtual GPU driver will support macOS, Windows and Linux, but the laptop will still need compatible Wi-Fi and software that delivers that support.
