New kid, new house: Finn Baxter thinks his new home is haunted, but the real problem is a trio of thieves hunting a valuable painting in the basement. Cue more traps, this time with a heavy “online gaming kid” angle.

Home Sweet Home Alone (2021)

This Disney+ original reboot follows Max Mercer, a boy left behind when his family travels to Japan. A couple tries to break into the house to recover a family heirloom, and Max goes full Kevin with updated traps.

Is Disney+ the Best Place to Watch Home Alone in the UAE?

In practice, yes:

• Disney+ Middle East launched with all six Home Alone films (1–3, 4, Holiday Heist, Home Sweet Home Alone) in its library. 
• Disney owns 20th Century and has kept the franchise as a core part of its Christmas movie push in MENA. 
• The UAE Disney+ app lists Home Alone, 2, 3 and Home Sweet Home Alone directly on the local apps domain, confirming regional availability with Arabic support. 

You can still mix in Netflix UAE for Home Alone 2 if that’s where your profile is set up, or use Apple TV / Prime Video if you prefer to own specific films. But for a simple “press play on the entire series” approach, Disney+ is the one to grab.
