Valor Mortis will launch on 13 October 2026 for $39.99, €39.99 or 149.99 zł, with One More Level skipping pre-orders and offering a Deluxe Edition that includes a major story expansion planned for 2027.
Valor Mortis price reflects a crowded autumn
The Polish studio behind Ghostrunner says it has spent the past year discussing the Valor Mortis price. The team believes its first-person Soulslike can stand alongside full-price releases, pointing to a story expected to run for about 20 hours and the game’s high-fidelity presentation.
The lower launch price also acknowledges the release calendar. Valor Mortis was previously moved from September to 13 October, a period that includes several large action and role-playing games. The new game follows a revived soldier of Napoleon’s army through a supernatural version of the Napoleonic Wars, with swordplay, supernatural abilities and plague-ridden enemies.
The announcement came from the official Valor Mortis account on X. One More Level’s Steam page lists the same 13 October release date and describes the game as a first-person action Soulslike from the creators of Ghostrunner. Tbreak previously covered the move to the October 13 release date.
Valor Mortis Deluxe Edition includes 2027 DLC
The $59.99, €59.99 or 199.99 zł Deluxe Edition will include the base game, several cosmetic packs and a major story DLC release planned for next year. The studio has not announced the expansion’s name, scope or a more specific launch date.
One More Level also says free updates are planned for the weeks and months after launch. It has not detailed what those updates will contain. The game is listed for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the publisher has said it will arrive day one on Game Pass for PC and Xbox.
There will be no pre-order period. Players will be able to buy Valor Mortis at launch, after the finished game is available to assess. A UAE price was not included in the announcement; the local figure will need to be confirmed on regional storefronts.
