Sandisk x Crayola: cute USB-C sticks in school-bag colours

Sandisk and Crayola have teamed up on a set of USB-C flash drives that look like crayons, but carry up to 256GB of files. The SANDISK Crayola USB-C Flash Drive arrives in four bright colours and plugs straight into phones, tablets and laptops with USB-C. There’s an optional Memory Zone app for backup, and a 3-month Crayola Create & Play perk for kids. UAE price and on-sale dates are not yet shared.

Sandisk is leaning into nostalgia here, from the barrel shape to the familiar box styling. The point is to make storage less boring without ditching function. Plug the drive into a desktop and a Crayola icon shows in the Files app, which makes it easier for kids to spot their stick. The Memory Zone app can handle backups and sorting if you want something guided rather than drag-and-drop. Either way, moving files between tablets, computers and other USB-C kit is straightforward.

Sandisk says this is the first officially licensed Crayola USB flash drive and confirms the announcement date.
