Samsung’s upcoming smart glasses could weigh about 41g and offer a much wider range of frame choices than the company has shown publicly. A new SammyGuru report details alleged specifications and designs from Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, including 3K video recording and up to nine hours of battery life.
These are leaked details, not a final Samsung specification sheet. The report adds hardware and styling information to the two model families covered in tbreak’s earlier Samsung smart glasses FCC story.
In its May smart glasses announcement, Samsung confirmed that it was working with Google and both eyewear brands. It described smartphone-connected glasses with Gemini voice assistance and planned the first collections for autumn 2026, but it has not published the specifications now circulating.
A camera and speakers, not a display
According to SammyGuru’s information, the glasses have no display. Instead, two open-ear speakers deliver spoken responses, while four microphones handle calls and interaction with Gemini. That makes them a different proposition from a headset that places a screen in front of the wearer.
The reported hardware includes a Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip, 2GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage for photos and videos before transfer to a phone. A 12MP camera would record 3K video at 30fps. The roughly 41g weight applies to standard lenses; prescription lenses add weight, and the figure varies by model.

The battery figures need the same care. SammyGuru lists up to nine hours on the glasses, with up to 72 hours of total use when the charging case is included. The latter is not a claim that the glasses run continuously for three days on one charge. Its reported IPX4 rating applies to the glasses, not the case.
More frame shapes and colours
The leak describes six Gentle Monster frame shapes across 16 versions. Alongside squared and rounder frames, the range reportedly includes cat-eye and oval designs. Some options extend beyond black to light grey, pale lilac, burgundy, and cream. SammyGuru stresses that its descriptions of the Gentle Monster shapes and colours are not official names.
Warby Parker’s reported styles have names: Alden, Reid, and Wren. Alden and Wren would come in Pine, described as dark green, and Saddle, a reddish brown. Reid would come in Jet Black. Clear and tinted lens choices would bring that collection to 10 versions.
The choice broadens Samsung’s approach to a category already dominated by Meta, as covered in tbreak’s AI glasses shipment report. These leaked options suggest buyers would choose an eyewear style and a set of electronics, although final configurations still need confirmation.
When are Samsung’s smart glasses expected to go on sale?
SammyGuru expects November sales, with Gentle Monster’s collection in South Korea and the US, and Warby Parker’s collection in the US only. That is more specific than Samsung’s official autumn window, but remains a report rather than a confirmed exact release date. Pricing and UAE availability remain unverified.
Can anyone use the Gemini features?
Samsung’s announcement says Gemini Live requires an internet connection and a Google account, and is available only to users aged 18 or older. Service availability can vary by country, language, and device model, so a supported pair of glasses does not guarantee every feature in every market.
