Red Bull has opened UAE registration for Red Bull Wings Cup, a new EA Sports FC 27 competition that runs in almost 80 countries and ends with a World Final at Inter Miami’s Nu Stadium in early 2027. The company announced the UAE leg on 9 October, with the competition run in partnership with EA Sports and PlayStation Tournaments.
The World Final mixes competitive gameplay with real-life football challenges, and finalists compete to become the first Red Bull Wings Cup champion. To get there, UAE players need to win a place at the National Final. The eligible National Champion then represents the country in Miami.
Three routes to the National Final
- University League: currently enrolled students compete in on-campus qualifiers on PlayStation 5, playing EA Sports FC 27 Rush against other students from across the UAE.
- Open League: players log into PlayStation Tournaments on their PS5 and compete online with their own squad in EA Sports FC 27 Ultimate Team.
- Wild Card qualifier: a last-chance event on 31 October at Zed Gaming in Abu Dhabi.
The top players from the Open and University Leagues, plus the Wild Card winner, advance to the National Final. Entry is open to UAE residents aged 18 and over, and local terms and conditions may apply. Registration runs through the Red Bull Wings Cup UAE 2026 event page, with more details at redbullwingscup.com. The announcement doesn’t give dates for the league stages or the National Final, or a prize breakdown.
Cans, partners and the Emirati face of the campaign
Limited Edition Red Bull Wings Cup cans are rolling out in the UAE. Each has an eight-digit code under the tab that eligible buyers can redeem for in-game rewards, including player cards and season points. Eligible consumers can also win a trip to watch the World Final in Miami.
Emirati footballer Yahya Alghassani joins the UAE campaign. Jetour UAE and Elite Group Holding are event partners and will bring the Jetour G700 TOPFIRE to key activations. TCL is the Official Display Partner, with a QD-Mini LED TV in the competition zones.

Who can enter in the UAE?
Current UAE residents aged 18 or over. University League entrants must also be currently enrolled students.

A PlayStation 5. Both the Open League, run through PlayStation Tournaments, and the University League use PS5 consoles.
