The line-up includes VALORANT, Fortnite, PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, EA Sports FC 26, Tekken 8 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The format combines online qualifiers, LAN qualifiers and live grand finals across PC, mobile, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
The official schedule gives Fortnite a 1–6 September slot and a USD 40,000 prize pool. VALORANT follows from 2–11 September with USD 50,000, while PUBG Mobile runs from 3–8 September with USD 25,000. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is scheduled for 12–15 September and also carries USD 25,000.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate takes place on 27–28 September with USD 20,000. Tekken 8 runs on 24–25 September and EA Sports FC 26 on 22–23 September, with USD 20,000 assigned to each. The dates and prize allocations can change, so competitors should check the tournament site before travelling.
How to register for the Qatar esports tournament
Players can register online through the tournament website. The event listing on ILoveQatar says registration is free, but a registration is required. The competition is being presented by Qatar Calendar, powered by Ooredoo Nation, with Al Kass Sports Channel as media partner and the Qatar Esports Federation and Snoonu City as major sponsors.

For regional context, Qatar has also partnered with Sega on efforts to promote Arabic games across MENA, while the Esports World Cup’s 2025 smartphone partnership showed how quickly competitive gaming partnerships are spreading across the region. The Sega and Qatar partnership is a separate initiative.
