Razer has launched the Razer Prio, a foldable USB-C mobile game controller that the company says folds down to about the size of a credit card.
The newsroom post is dated 1 September 2026. Razer’s US store lists the pad from US$99.99; the UK store from £99.99.
Android Authority reported the same US figure on 2 September and said it was also on Amazon US and other retailers.
What the Razer Prio packs
Razer calls the Razer Prio the first in a new line of ultra-portable mobile controllers. Folded, the newsroom gives 107 mm × 67 mm × 23 mm and 101 g. The US spec table lists size as 101 mm × 67 mm, with the same 101 g weight. It twists open into a full layout: capacitive analog thumbsticks, a tactile 4-way D-pad, face buttons, bumpers and triggers.

The thumbsticks use contactless capacitive sensing, which Razer says is a first on one of its controllers and is engineered to reduce drift. Face buttons are silent and tactile. The clamp is specified for phones up to 7 inches, including the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra — two of the flagships in tbreak’s best gaming phones in the UAE round-up. Razer says it fits most slim-to-medium cases.
USB-C, cloud play and Cortex Mobile
There is no controller battery to charge and no Bluetooth pairing. The Razer Prio plugs in over USB-C and draws power from the phone. Razer’s system list is iPhone on iOS 18 and Android 14 or later.
Once connected it is meant for local mobile games and for streaming through Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam Link, PS Remote Play and Razer PC Remote Play, using Razer Cortex Mobile and the PC app. A dedicated Cortex Mobile button is on the pad. The store notes that Cortex Mobile itself has no fee, though some apps inside it do.
Android Authority added that the layout could suit emulated games on Android. That is AA’s aside, not a Razer compatibility list. tbreak has already covered how far Android emulation has come on the Red Magic 11 Pro.
Price, warranty and the UAE
The Razer US store lists the Razer Prio from US$99.99 with the buy button enabled. The UK page is £99.99. RazerStore purchases are sold with up to a one-year warranty and 14-day returns.
tbreak has not found a UAE product page. Razer’s ae-en URL for the controller returns a not-found screen, and there is no Amazon.ae or noon listing to quote. There is no dirham figure to quote. Other recent pads on tbreak, including the Gears of War: E-Day Xbox controller, have sat in the same global-price, local-listing-later pattern.
