Ramy Gamal and Wael Jassar’s Dubai Concert Just Moved to September — Tickets From AED 195

Ramy Gamal and Wael Jassar headline A Night of Love and Tears at Dubai World Trade Centre on 4 September — tickets from AED 195, and the date has changed.

Egyptian singer Ramy Gamal and Lebanese artist Wael Jassar headline A Night of Love and Tears at Dubai World Trade Centre on Friday 4 September. Tickets start at AED 195.

The concert was originally billed for 8 August. Platinumlist, the official ticket seller, now lists it for Friday 4 September with doors at 7pm and the show at 8pm — worth knowing if you saw the earlier date on a promo or listing. Visit Dubai’s own event copy also gives 4 September.

Gamal is the Egyptian pop voice behind Beykalemony; Jassar is the Lebanese tarab mainstay whose catalogue includes Zorouf Maandani. The National’s summer concert roundup billed the pairing as “a night of romantic Arabic pop and balladry.”

The show runs at Sheikh Rashid Hall with “a massive production, world-class sound and lighting”, per Platinumlist’s billing. Age limit is 8+, and professional cameras are not allowed.

Tickets run AED 195 to AED 1,300 through Platinumlist. All sales are final; refunds are only offered if the event is cancelled.

The venue is a short walk from the World Trade Centre metro stop on the Red Line. Dubai’s live calendar is filling out for the season, with Trevor Noah back at Dubai Opera in November and the Arabic streaming slate bulking up on Netflix — but this one is for the region’s big voices, in a hall built for them.

If the earlier August date is the one you saved, the tickets you buy now are for September. The songs, presumably, are unchanged.
