Trevor Noah Returns to Dubai Opera — Two Nights Is the Whole Run

Trevor Noah returns to Dubai Opera on November 25 and 26 for two nights of a new stand-up show — his first UAE performances since Coca-Cola Arena in 2022. Tickets go on sale today, Wednesday 5 August, at 12pm Dubai time.

What to expect from the new show

Noah, born in Johannesburg in 1984, built his name on the South African comedy circuit before becoming one of the world’s best-known stand-ups. He hosted The Daily Show from 2015 to 2022, has hosted the Grammy Awards, and released his latest Netflix special, Joy in the Trenches, this year.

The Dubai set is fresh material, drawn from personal stories and observations gathered across a career spent travelling — a broad canvas for someone who spent seven years explaining American politics for a living. The venue is the more intimate half of that equation: Dubai Opera’s main hall holds roughly two thousand, considerably cosier than the arena he played last time. Two performances, both in November, and that is the entire run.

The shows land at the end of a busy comedy season at the Opera. Jimmy Carr plays the same stage on August 29 with two shows of Laughs Funny, tickets from AED 250.
