Sony is adding three more retro games to the PlayStation Plus Classics catalogue: Mega Man X Command Mission later this month, followed by Dino Crisis 2 and the original Ratchet & Clank later in 2026. The announcement came during the September 3 State of Play broadcast.
PlayStation Plus Classics games confirmed
Mega Man X Command Mission is the first of the three additions, arriving later this month. Capcom’s RPG originally launched on PlayStation 2 in 2004.
Dino Crisis 2, Capcom’s PlayStation survival-horror sequel, is planned for the Classics catalogue later this year. Sony has not given a more precise release date for either game.
The original Ratchet & Clank will also join the service later in 2026. Insomniac Games’ action platformer first released on PlayStation 2 in 2002, making this the first game in the series to be added to the Classics line-up in this announcement.
Who gets the new PlayStation Plus Classics games?
Classics catalogue games are available only to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers. Extra members can access the broader Game Catalogue, but they do not receive the Premium tier’s PS1, PS2 and PSP selection.
