Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue additions for June 2026, with Final Fantasy XVI, Sonic X Shadow Generations and Kingdom Come: Deliverance leading a strong month for subscribers.
The June update also includes Life is Strange: Double Exposure, Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fire and Black Desert. Meanwhile, higher-tier subscribers will receive the classic PS2 rhythm game Gitaroo Man through the Classics Catalogue.
Sony is experimenting with a staggered release schedule in select markets, including the US, UK and Japan. However, the complete lineup will become available in all other regions, including the UAE, on June 16, 2026.
In the UAE, the Game Catalogue is included with PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Deluxe memberships. Deluxe is the regional equivalent of the Premium tier referenced in Sony's global announcement and also includes access to the Classics Catalogue and game trials.
Final Fantasy XVI | PS5
The biggest addition this month is Final Fantasy XVI, the darker action-RPG entry in Square Enix's long-running series.
Players take on the role of Clive Rosfield, the First Sheild of Rosaria, as he travels across the land of Valisthea and becomes entangled in a story involving political conflict, revenge and powerful beings known as Eikons. Unlike earlier mainline Final Fantasy games, Final Fantasy XVI places a heavier emphasis on real-time action combat.
Final Fantasy XVI will be added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue globally on June 16.
Sonic X Shadow Generations | PS5, PS4
Sonic X Shadow Generations combines a remastered version of Sonic Generations with a new campaign focused on Shadow the Hedgehog.
The Shadow Generations portion of the game follows Shadow as he confronts Black Doom and revisits key moments from his past, unlocking new abilities along the way. The package also includes upgraded versions of the original Sonic Generations stages, which mix side-scrolling platforming with modern 3D levels.
The game is already available through PlayStation Plus in the US and UK as of June 10, while players in the UAE will receive access with the full regional rollout on June 16.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance | PS5, PS4
Kingdom Come: Deliverance gives subscribers an opportunity to revisit the beginning of Henry’s story before jumping into its sequel.
The open-world RPG is set in medieval Bohemia and follows the son of a blacksmith after his village is destroyed during a civil war. The game places a strong emphasis on historical realism, player choice and methodical first-person combat.
The PS5 version features several visual upgrades, including 4K resolution, improved performance and higher-resolution textures.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure | PS5
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield, the protagonist of the original Life is Strange.
After discovering that her friend Safi has been murdered, Max attempts to use her time-rewinding ability. Instead, she opens a path to an alternate timeline in which Safi is still alive but remains in danger. Players must investigate the mystery while moving between the two realities and making decisions that affect both timelines.
Farming Simulator 25 | PS5
Farming Simulator 25 adds new crops, animals and environments to the long-running agricultural simulation series.
Players can manage farms across locations inspired by East Asia, North America and Central Europe, with new options including rice farming and spinach cultivation. The game also features production chains, construction missions and more than 400 machines from 150 agricultural brands.
Blades of Fire | PS5
Blades of Fire is an action game from MercurySteam, the studio behind Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Metroid Dread.
Players control Aran de Lira, a warrior with the ability to forge weapons in a world where metal has mysteriously turned to stone. Combat is built around deliberate attacks, careful positioning and a weapon-forging system that allows players to shape the balance and properties of each blade.
Black Desert | PS5
Pearl Abyss’ open-world MMORPG Black Desert is also joining the catalogue on PS5.
The game combines fast-paced combat with large-scale guild battles, exploration and a broad selection of non-combat activities, including fishing, trading, cooking, alchemy and horse training.
Gitaroo Man | PS5, PS4
PlayStation Plus Deluxe subscribers in the UAE will also receive access to Gitaroo Man through the Classics Catalogue.
Originally released for the PlayStation 2, the rhythm game follows U-1 as he uses the mythical Gitaroo — an instrument that doubles as a weapon — to battle enemies through music-based encounters. This marks the first time the game has been released on PS4 and PS5.
