Hackers have found a sneaky way to disguise phishi Hackers have found a sneaky way to disguise phishing emails targeting Booking.com users, by swapping characters in links with nearly identical ones from foreign alphabets.

One ongoing campaign uses the Japanese letter “ん”, which can look like a forward slash in some fonts. At a glance, the fake link seems legit, but it actually redirects you to a malicious website designed to steal data or install malware.

This tactic, called a homograph attack, isn’t new. Similar scams have swapped Cyrillic “С” for a Latin “C” or even lowercase “l” for “i” in fake domains. The goal is always the same: trick you into clicking before you notice something’s off.

The best defense is to always hover over links to check where they really lead, and be cautious of emails with slightly strange URLs, even if they look authentic.

Would you have spotted the difference?

Microsoft is imagining a future where talking to y Microsoft is imagining a future where talking to your PC could be just as natural as typing on it. Corporate VP Pavan Davuluri says the next generation of Windows will lean heavily on AI, voice, and vision-based interactions, moving beyond traditional mouse and keyboard input.

The goal is for Windows to understand your intent — whether you’re speaking while taking notes, sketching with a pen, or multitasking across apps. Future devices could even visually interpret your desktop, enabling more context-aware responses.

While the idea feels straight out of sci-fi, Microsoft says some of these AI features could run entirely on-device, reducing reliance on the cloud and offering better privacy. For now, AI tools like Copilot are already in Windows 11, but millions of users are still on Windows 10, which is losing support in October.

Would you trade your keyboard for a PC you can just talk to?
