Apple TV 4K leak coverage has gained a physical clue: MacRumors says an image file for an unreleased “Apple TV 4K (4th generation)” has surfaced, showing a box that looks much like the current model. The image does not confirm the rumoured chip, memory or launch date.
Apple TV 4K leak points to internal upgrades
According to MacRumors, contributor Aaron Perris found the image file. The report says the next Apple TV 4K could use an A17 Pro chip or newer, 8GB of RAM, Apple Intelligence features, an Apple-designed N1 wireless chip, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and a revised Siri Remote. Those remain reported specifications, not Apple-confirmed features.
The existing model arrived in October 2022 with an A15 Bionic chip and 4GB of RAM. Apple’s launch announcement listed 64GB Wi-Fi and 128GB Wi-Fi plus Ethernet versions. A newer chip and more memory would give Apple more headroom for games and on-device assistant features, but the leak does not establish how those features will work.
The new report follows our earlier coverage of the A19 chip leak and the earlier A17 Pro report. The conflicting chip rumours are a useful reminder that the hardware is still unannounced. The newer MacRumors report specifically says “A17 Pro or newer”, rather than settling the question.
Apple TV 4K price and UAE availability
Apple’s UAE store currently lists the existing Apple TV 4K at AED 529 for the Wi-Fi model with 64GB and AED 599 for the Wi-Fi plus Ethernet model with 128GB, according to its product listing. The new model’s UAE price, storage options and release date are not confirmed.
Apple has already raised US pricing for the current models to $199 and $249, MacRumors reports, so a new version may not arrive at the old entry price. Apple has not announced an event or launch date. October would fit the company’s usual timing for Apple TV hardware, but that is a pattern, not a schedule.
