Mafia: The Old Country’s first story expansion, Man of Honor, launches this Friday, August 14. It costs $10 — about AED 37 in the UAE — and adds two new story chapters plus new Free Ride content, with the return of the Don who ran the Salieri family in the original Mafia.
The expansion was revealed at Summer Game Fest 2026 (tbreak’s roundup of everything announced there is here). Its existence is a mild surprise: The Old Country launched last year as a $50, smaller-scale title — a linear, story-first game rather than a 60-hour open world — but it performed well enough that Hangar 13 has kept supporting it. IGN scored the base game 8/10.
What’s in Man of Honor
Man of Honor is set in Sicily’s Valle Dorata in winter 1905, months after Enzo Favara’s initiation into the Torrisi family. The Don assigns him to assist Ennio Salieri, recently released from prison and intent on settling old scores. This is a younger, scrappier Salieri than the Don who later rules Lost Heaven: still feared and respected, still hustling for his cut.
“Longtime Mafia fans know Salieri well, given his central role as the Don of his own crime family in the city of Lost Heaven, where the original Mafia and Mafia: Definitive Edition take place,” says Josh Zammit, design director at Hangar 13. Man of Honor shows what he was before all that: Sicily, 1905, before emigration and power.
Man of Honor’s Free Ride content
Beyond the two story chapters, the expansion adds to Free Ride mode. Salieri operates out of a warehouse in Porto Almaro, handing out amped-up Challenges and new Jobs: tracking down objectives, towing high-value vehicles, delivering stolen trucks full of fragile goods.
The pay is Dinari, spent on outfits, weapons, vehicles and horses exclusive to the expansion. The collectible wanted posters use the development team’s mugshots in period attire.
Man of Honor costs $10 (about AED 37) on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S via 2K’s buy page; the base game is required.
Steam UAE currently has The Old Country at AED 132, down from AED 220, so new arrivals can pick up game and expansion for about AED 169. The DLC is not yet listed on the UAE stores, but the game’s existing $9.99 cosmetic packs sell for AED 37 there.
