Huawei has unveiled the Huawei nova 16s globally, bringing a 6.68-inch OLED display with 5,500-nit peak brightness, a 7,000mAh battery and 100W charging. UAE pricing and availability have not been announced.
The global model is the rebranded version of the nova 16 sold in China, according to Huawei Central. Huawei’s official product page lists four finishes: Isle Blue, Breathing Crystal, Sky White and Starry Black.

The Huawei nova 16s uses a 6.68-inch OLED panel with a 2,800 × 1,280 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and up to 300Hz touch sampling. Huawei claims peak brightness of 5,500 nits, a figure aimed at keeping the screen readable outdoors. The official specifications list 1.07 billion colours and P3 wide colour gamut.
It runs on Huawei’s Kirin 8020 octa-core processor and ships with EMUI 16.0. Storage options are 256GB and 512GB. The phone measures 159.6 × 75.5 × 7.3mm and weighs about 199g.
Camera, battery and UAE availability
The rear camera system combines a 50MP main camera with a 50MP RYYB periscope telephoto camera. The telephoto lens supports 3.3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, while a 50MP front camera handles selfies. Huawei also lists AI Composition, AI Move, AI Remove and AI Best Expression tools.

Huawei’s UAE nova 16s page currently returns a not-found page, and no UAE price or release date has been confirmed.
