HP’s New OMEN & HyperX Gear: Cooler PCs, Smarter AI, and Longer Battery Life

HP has announced its latest gaming hardware lineup at the inaugural Level Reforge event, introducing new OMEN desktops and HyperX peripherals. The release includes the flagship OMEN Max 45L desktop with patented cooling technology, refresh OMEN 35L models, and several new HyperX audio products.

HP’s most powerful gaming desktop features the company’s patented Cryo Chamber cooling system. This technology pulls cold air from outside the chassis to isolate and cool the CPU, resulting in a 7.5C temp reduction under full load compared to previous models. The redesigned chassis with raised feet and vented slots also improves GPU cooling by up to 2C.

The Max 45L supports up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics. It includes a fully modular 1200W power supply with customizable fan curves and real-time monitoring through OMEN Gaming Hub. The system also features OMEN AI for one-click performance optimization and supports various multiplayer games including Valorant, League of Legends, Apex Legends, and Fortnite.

Omen 35L Gaming Desktop

The refresh OMEN 35L offers similar high-end specs with support for AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processors and GeForce RTX 5090 GPU. It includes improved thermal performance and the same modular 1200W power supply as the Max 45L, along with aRGB lighting and OMEN AI optimization

A minimalist variant of the 35L, the Stealth Edition features an all-black RGB-free design while maintaining the same internal specifications. This model serves as the official PC for League of Legends Esports and the Valorant Champions Tour.

HyperX Cloud Alpha 2 Wireless Headset

The flagship wireless gaming headset offers up to 250 hours of battery life in 2.4Ghz mode and 125 hours with simultaneous 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth connections. It features 53mm dual-chamber drivers, memory foam ear cushions, and a steel-reinforced frame for durability.

The headset includes HP’s first reprogrammable RGB base station with six customizable buttons and a volume wheel that doubles as a mute control. The base station can switch between headset and speaker audio output. The package includes a detachable 100mm boom microphone with LED indicator.

HyperX Cloud Flight 2

A more affordable wireless option with removable earcup plates and full RGB panels. The Flight 2 offers up to 100 hours of battery life in 2.4Ghz (with LEDs off) and up to 150 hours via Bluetooth. Lighting and audio settings are customizable through HyperX’s NGenuity software.

HyperX FlipCast Microphone

A versatile microphone supporting both USB and XLR connectivity for content creators. The FlipCast features a dynamic mic capsule tuned for background noise rejection, tap-to-mute functionality, and a front-facing LED input level meter.

It includes audio filters such as low-cut and presence boost, with additional processing options available through NGenuity software.

HyperX SoloCast 2 Microphone

A compact USB condenser microphone with built-in shock mount and foam pop filter. The SoloCast 2 features 40-degree tilt adjustment, mic arm threading, tap-to-mute, and LED status indicator. It includes saveable onboard audio filters and AI noise reduction through NGenuity software.

NGenuity Software Update

HP is also releasing a redesigned version of its NGenuity software, initially available in beta. The update osftware will provide spatial audio support and AI-based noise cancellation for microphones, along with expanded customization options for HyperX peripherals.
