Harry Potter Defenders of Hogwarts, the first board game from the graphic design studio MinaLima, is due to launch in a limited release this autumn, with Kickstarter backers given an estimated delivery date in October 2026. The game is officially licensed through Warner Bros. Consumer Products and is built around defending Hogwarts from dark magical threats.

MinaLima co-founders Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima created the graphic universe of the Harry Potter films, including the Hogwarts acceptance letter, the Marauder’s Map and the Daily Prophet newspapers. Their new game carries that visual language into a tabletop format, with players casting spells, exploring the school grounds and preparing Hogwarts for battle.
The campaign page describes a new tabletop adventure in the wizarding world. The Kickstarter campaign raised £1,313,755 from 10,959 backers against a £50,000 goal before closing, according to the official campaign page. Its backer reward lists estimated delivery in October 2026.
When will Defenders of Hogwarts be available?
The initial release is planned for online sales, selected retailers, House of MinaLima locations and Harry Potter Shops from Autumn 2026, according to Mojo Nation’s report. A wider release in multiple languages is planned for Spring 2027.
The MinaLima shop lists the game as coming soon, but the checked page does not show a UAE price or confirm a UAE retailer. That leaves local availability, shipping costs and any import charges to be confirmed closer to launch.
The game arrives as MinaLima expands its work in the Wizarding World beyond the film designs that made the studio’s name. For fans, the immediate question is whether the finished box looks as good on a table as it does in the campaign photography. A dangerous standard for a board game, perhaps, but the studio set it itself.
