Gymkhana Dubai opened today, 1 September 2026, at Gate Village 7 in DIFC. The two-Michelin-starred London Indian restaurant is serving its first UAE guests with a Dubai menu, a 137-cover dining room and reservations now live.

Gymkhana Dubai DIFC opens with a larger Dubai menu

The restaurant is the latest international name to arrive in Dubai’s financial district. Gymkhana opened in Mayfair in 2013, earned its first Michelin star within nine months and received a second in 2024. JKS Restaurants has since opened locations in Riyadh and Las Vegas, with Dubai becoming the group’s fourth Gymkhana restaurant and its first in the UAE.

Gymkhana takes its name from the elite social and sporting clubs of India. The Dubai interior uses warm timber, brass and lighter green tones, with Indian marble and bespoke stained-glass details. A mirrored staircase leads to a lower-level room with a peacock-feather mural and a jewellery-box ceiling. The private dining space can accommodate up to 14 seated guests or 30 standing.

The restaurant’s two ground-floor dining areas are joined by an additional terrace. It is a three-minute walk from Financial Centre Metro Station, while DIFC also lists ticketless parking and Salik access across the district.

What is on the Gymkhana Dubai menu?

The menu draws on North Indian cooking, with influences from the south and west of the country. It is divided into chaat-style sharing plates, kebabs and tikkas, game and chops, curries, biryanis, vegetables, sides and desserts.

The à la carte menu includes aloo chaat at AED 85, kid goat methi keema at AED 95, chicken butter masala at AED 155, tandoori masala lamb chops at AED 365 and a Wagyu beef cheek vindaloo at AED 255. Desserts are priced at AED 65, including rasgulla tiramisu, rasmalai with Emirati qishta and saffron pistachio kulfi falooda.

The tasting menu costs AED 695 per person. The vegetarian tasting menu is AED 595, while wine pairing is listed at AED 650. The prices come from Gymkhana Dubai’s current sample menus and may change.

The menu keeps several London signatures, including aloo chaat, tandoori masala lamb chops, kid goat methi keema and chicken butter masala. It also includes dishes made specifically for Dubai.
