GWM has officially launched the Haval V7 in the UAE through distributor Saeed Juma Al Naboodah Group. The mid-size SUV features a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and All-Terrain Control System with driving modes specifically tailored for Middle East conditions, including Sand and Mud modes.
Built for UAE conditions
The Haval V7 measures 4,800mm in length, 1,950mm in width and 1,843mm in height, positioning it squarely in the competitive mid-size SUV segment. Under the bonnet sits a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 228 HP and 380 Nm of torque, paired with a 9-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission.
Customers can choose between 2WD and intelligent 4WD configurations. The 2WD variant includes Standard, Sport, Economy, Snow and AUTO driving modes, while 4WD models add Mud, Sand and Grass/Bumpy Road modes—features clearly designed with regional terrain in mind. The 4WD variants also include an electronically controlled rear axle differential lock for enhanced traction.

Technology and comfort focus
Inside, the V7 features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 15.6-inch central touchscreen. Premium features include ventilated front seats, a refrigerated centre armrest storage box, and up to 43 storage spaces throughout the cabin. Higher specifications add a 9-inch windscreen head-up display and 360-degree panoramic camera with transparent chassis view.
Wireless connectivity includes 50W inductive fast wireless charging and a premium audio system with up to 10 speakers including a subwoofer in higher trim levels. The available panoramic sunroof and soft-touch surfaces enhance the premium positioning.

Safety and market positioning
The Haval V7 achieved a 2026 Euro-NCAP Five-Star Safety Rating, built on a reinforced body structure using ultra-strong 2000 MPa steel in key areas. Standard safety features include Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and advanced driver assistance systems.
"The HAVAL V7 has been developed with the Middle East driver in mind, someone who values comfort and technology for daily driving, but also wants the freedom to explore," said Sunny Bhat, Sales & Marketing Director at GWM Middle East. "It's a true lifestyle SUV that adapts effortlessly to city life while remaining capable when the road ends."
