Rockstar has published a new Launch Gallery for Grand Theft Auto VI, a set of nearly 40 screenshots of Jason, Lucia, their supporting cast and locations across Leonida. In a Newswire post dated 5 November, Rockstar said the game is “now officially only two weeks away” and pointed fans to the new images on its official site.

That fits Rockstar’s approach to the run-up. For actual gameplay, VGC still points readers to the reveal that aired via Netflix in August. VGC describes the campaign as carefully curated, with Rockstar holding back to avoid giving too much away. The studio’s plans were already dented by the Cyberleek leaks, which VGC says included full gameplay clips shared online months before release.

What’s in the gallery

There are 39 new screenshots, with them featuring shots of Jason and Lucia armed in the thick of violent crime, plus dance clubs, dockside dive bars, police raids, high-speed chases, scuba diving and hazy meadow sunsets. It also spots an alligator, a scarred man with two dead reptiles within reach, and a tactical-geared Jason apparently stepping off a military aircraft, with a combat-geared dog in the background. PC Gamer is speculating when it asks whether the protagonists might get a dog of their own.

The images are about atmosphere rather than detail on the game’s systems. TweakTown notes Rockstar hasn’t added captions, so mission names and story context stay under wraps until launch. Other outlets put the count anywhere from 35 to 38, so the exact number depends on who’s counting. Rockstar’s own post doesn’t give one.

Where the launch stands

GTA 6 arrives on 19 November on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and VGC says a PC port is expected some time later. Rockstar hasn’t announced a PC date. Rockstar’s Newswire also shows pre-load beginning on 10 November, which matters because the game is digital-only, as we covered in Rockstar’s confirmation of no disc at launch or after.

Plenty of the practical detail is already out. Rockstar has set Standard and Ultimate Edition prices, confirmed a 30fps console cap at launch, and reportedly sent review codes to media with reviews due 18 November. If you’re on the fence, those pages cover the main purchase questions before the screenshots do.

Where can I see the new GTA 6 screenshots?

Rockstar hosts them in the Launch Gallery on the official GTA VI site, at rockstargames.com/VI/launch-gallery, as linked from its Newswire post. According to Inven Global, the images are also available through Rockstar’s media section.

When does GTA 6 pre-load and launch?

Rockstar’s Newswire lists pre-load from 10 November, and the game launches on 19 November on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Is there a PC release date for GTA 6?

No. VGC reports a PC port is expected some time after the console launch, but Rockstar hasn’t announced a date.
