The 83rd Golden Globes are done, and it was a huge night for One Battle After Another, Hamnet, Adolescence and KPop Demon Hunters, with Apple TV+, Netflix, Disney+ and OSN+ all scoring major wins. 

If you’re in the UAE and now wondering where to actually watch the winners, this guide rounds up every major film, TV, stand-up and even the new podcast category – plus how to stream or watch them here. Big film winners – and where to watch them in the UAE

Hamnet

Awards:

  • Best Motion Picture – Drama
  • Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama (Jessie Buckley) 

Where to watch in the UAE:

  • Cinemas (coming soon): Hamnet is set for a UAE theatrical rollout in late January 2026 – it’s already listed as “coming soon” at Roxy Cinemas and other local chains, with a UAE release date of 21 January 2026.
  • Streaming: No legal streaming yet. Expect it to hit digital stores (Prime Video and Apple TV’s movie store) after its cinema window.

One Battle After Another

Awards:

  • Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy
  • Best Director – Motion Picture (Paul Thomas Anderson)
  • Best Screenplay – Motion Picture (Paul Thomas Anderson)
  • Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture (Teyana Taylor) 

Where to watch in the UAE:

  • Cinemas: Already did the rounds in cinemas across the UAE. Check VOX, Reel and Roxy listings if it comes back. 

Digital (later): Early digital releases are expected on services like Prime Video’s movie store and Apple TV’s store, followed by a subscription window on a Warner-aligned platform. Exact MENA SVOD partner hasn’t been announced yet. 


The Secret Agent

Awards:

  • Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language
  • Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama (Wagner Moura) 

Where to watch in the UAE:

  • Cinemas / festivals: The Brazilian political thriller has had a staggered theatrical run and festival screenings. No info on UAE screenings. 
  • Digital: Internationally, it’s starting to appear as a digital rental/purchase title on platforms like Prime Video and Apple TV, with broader SVOD availability expected later in 2026. UAE catalogue timing may lag a bit – search for The Secret Agent in the Prime Video store or Apple TV store

KPop Demon Hunters

Awards:

  • Best Motion Picture – Animated
  • Best Original Song – “Golden”
