Samsung has announced the Galaxy S26 FE, the first phone in its S26 family to ship with One UI 9 from day one. It goes on sale September 4 in Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio, with US pricing from $799 for the 256GB model.
What the Galaxy S26 FE brings
The FE line exists to carry the essentials of the flagship down the range, and this one follows the pattern. The triple rear camera pairs a 50MP wide sensor with a 12MP ultra-wide and an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, alongside a 12MP selfie camera. Nightography returns for low light, and My FanCam — previously a foldable exclusive — now tracks a chosen subject through video automatically.
AI carries the pitch. Photo Assist edits images from natural-language prompts, Gemini Omni turns gallery clips into ready-to-share videos, and One UI 9 brings customisable Now Brief cards, a wider Now Nudge and multi-item Circle to Search. The battery is 4,900 mAh with 45W charging, the display a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED, and the phone is promised seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.

Samsung’s UAE store has the listing up but not yet orderable, with stock to follow the September 4 release. A UAE price has not been confirmed; the mainline Galaxy S26 launched from AED 3,599, and the FE has historically undercut it. Globally, the 256GB model is priced from $799 in the US and £799 in the UK, per SamMobile. Samsung’s UAE trade-in programme is the lever most buyers will use to bring that figure down.
