ForEVo, one of Europe’s clean energy players, has officially landed in the UAE. At a glitzy launch event in Dubai’s Palazzo Versace, the company pulled the curtain on its electric vehicle charging platform, built around artificial intelligence, IoT, and big data.
The goal? To help the UAE hit its sustainability targets while building a fast, reliable EV infrastructure across the region—without dumping the costs on local partners.
Smart EV charging comes to Dubai
Dubai is now home to ForEVo’s ultra-fast EV chargers, which can power up most vehicles in under 20 minutes.
- AI-based charging tech
- Real-time analytics
- Circular economy-aligned hardware
- Full charge in 15–20 minutes
This isn’t just about charging cars—it’s about building an entire EV ecosystem that’s as seamless and hands-off as possible. Users benefit from speed and reliability, while partners don’t have to pay a dirham upfront. ForEVo covers the installation, hardware, and maintenance costs, and partners get a cut from the charging revenue.
UAE first, GCC next
ForEVo’s roadmap kicks off in the UAE, with over 200 charging stations to be installed across the country and wider Gulf region in the next two years.
- Phase 1: 200+ stations by 2027
- Expansion planned across GCC
- Goal: 500+ stations globally by 2030
This aligns tightly with the UAE Net Zero by 2050 Strategy and the Dubai 2030 Green Mobility Plan. And yes, this is part of the significant push for EVs that we’ve seen with other government initiatives.
Built on experience, not hype
ForEVo isn’t a fresh-faced startup. It’s backed by the A-100 Group, which has more than 30 years of experience in European infrastructure and residential development.
- 1M+ square metres of developed projects
- 34,000 homes built
- 61,000+ residents served
This track record lends significant credibility to ForEVo’s ambitions—and makes its UAE entry worth paying attention to.
Low-risk model for local partners
Here’s where ForEVo stands out. Instead of selling stations, the company installs and operates them at zero upfront cost. Partners just provide space and get a share of the revenue.
- Zero CAPEX or OPEX for partners
- ForEVo handles equipment, installation, and maintenance
- Shared revenue model
This removes a major barrier for businesses that want to support EV infrastructure but can’t justify the investment.
