'We're able to play the game, we're about to pass a big milestone internally,' Howard said. 'The majority of the studio is on that game, and some of our partners.' The game was first announced at E3 2018 with a brief teaser, but Bethesda has remained tight-lipped about details since then.

Howard also addressed reports of upcoming Starfield content, setting expectations for what players can expect. 'It is not Starfield 2.0, I've seen some of that, so for expectations setting, it's the kind of thing where if you love Starfield, we think you're going to love this,' he said.
The update comes amid persistent rumours that Starfield could arrive on PlayStation 5, though Howard didn't address platform availability. The space-faring RPG launched exclusively on Xbox and PC in September 2023.
Multiple Fallout games in development
Despite the success of the Fallout television series, no new single-player entry has been released since Fallout 4 in 2015. Howard confirmed multiple projects are underway, saying 'We're working on stuff, there's a time to announce that… we have irons in the fire.'
When pressed on specifics, Howard confirmed 'multiple' games are coming. VGC understands one project is a remaster of Fallout 3, similar to last year's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remaster. Howard previously stated Bethesda has 'hundreds of people on Fallout right now, with 76 and some other things we're doing.'
