Ticket holders do not need to apply for anything. Refunds are being processed automatically through the original payment method within 21 working days, Ticketmaster told Gulf News. The show’s Ticketmaster page has been removed, and the concert no longer appears on Etihad Arena’s event calendar. Platinumlist, which also listed the event, said it had no announcement about the artist.
The September date was itself a second chance. Aguilera was originally due in Abu Dhabi on 24 April; the show moved to 25 September, with existing tickets staying valid (our earlier piece). Other UAE concerts took the same path — Ramy Gamal and Wael Jassar’s Dubai show moved to September too.

Aguilera last played the capital at Saadiyat Nights in February 2025 — a sold-out show that was her first Abu Dhabi appearance in 17 years. She previously headlined the closing night of Expo 2020 Dubai in March 2022. For now, ticket holders wait; the money arrives within 21 working days, and whether Aguilera returns to Abu Dhabi later has not been announced.
