CEER will reveal its first electric vehicles, a sedan and an SUV, in Saudi Arabia on September 21, 2026. The Saudi company says the event will be the world premiere of both flagship models, according to its official news page.
CEER electric vehicles arrive before planned production
CEER was established in 2022 as a joint venture between Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund and Foxconn. The company says it has grown from 20 employees to 2,300 and is building a vehicle business aimed at Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
The vehicles will use technology and components from international partners including BMW, Hyundai Transys and Rimac, according to CEER’s announcement. CEER’s official company page lists its focus as designing electric vehicles for Saudi conditions and regional buyers.
James DeLuca, CEER’s chief executive, said the company had spent the past few years moving from design and engineering towards manufacturing. The full release described the reveal as a milestone for the company, although it did not disclose the cars’ battery sizes, ranges, prices or expected delivery dates.
A Saudi manufacturing project with regional ambitions
CEER plans to begin production at its manufacturing complex in King Abdullah Economic City during the fourth quarter of 2026, according to industry coverage by AGBI. The company has signed 16 commercial agreements worth more than SAR 3.7 billion to support its local supply chain, according to AGBI and is targeting 45% Saudi local content by 2034.
CEER projects that it will contribute US$8 billion to Saudi Arabia’s GDP and create about 30,000 direct and indirect jobs by 2034. Those figures are company projections, not results already delivered.
The September reveal should provide the first proper look at the cars themselves. CEER has not announced a UAE launch date, local prices or a sales timetable for the Emirates.
