Bang & Olufsen Beo Grace: Jewellery-Grade Earbuds Land in November
TL;DR
  • Beo Grace is a metal-built, jewellery-inspired earbud with a 12mm titanium driver and Spatial Audio.
  • Adaptive ANC, TrueTransparency and a three-mic array target both commuting and calls.
  • Launch: pre-order 23 Sept, on sale 17 Nov; premium pricing with optional leather pouch.

Bang & Olufsen has announced Beo Grace, a pair of aluminium earbuds built like jewellery but tuned like proper hi-fi. You get a 12mm titanium driver, Spatial Audio optimised for Dolby Atmos, new Adaptive ANC, and a 3-year warranty. Pre-orders open on 23 September, with retail from 17 November. Pricing lands at £1,000/€1,200/$1,500; the leather pouch is £250/€300/$400.

Design: wearable sculpture, pocketable case

Beo Grace leans into B&O’s metalwork. The stems nod to the classic A8 and the buds sit in a pearl-blasted aluminium case that hides its hinge and charging window. IP57 keeps dust and water out, and the new oval ear tips should seal better. Battery is rated at up to 4.5 hours with ANC (17 hours with the case). A 5-minute top-up gets about 2.5 hours.

  • Slim aluminium stems inspired by A8
  • IP57 dust/water protection
  • 4.5h (ANC on), 17h with case; 5-min fast charge → ~2.5h
  • Updated oval tips for fit and seal

The aluminium work is the headline. It looks and feels premium, but it’s not only for show. The metal grills are precision-milled and the case opens with a smooth action. For UAE readers, B&O’s local site already lists aluminium-forward gear with AED pricing, so expect similar positioning here even if UAE pricing isn’t posted yet.

Sound and ANC: new driver, new brain

Inside is a new acoustic architecture tuned by B&O’s tonmeisters. A 12mm titanium driver sits behind metal grills. Spatial Audio can virtualise stereo and is tuned for Dolby Atmos. The brand’s Adaptive ANC is billed as four times more effective than its previous best earbud, with less hiss and pressure. A three-mic array in each bud aims for clearer calls.

  • 12mm titanium driver
  • Spatial Audio (optimised for Dolby Atmos)
  • Adaptive ANC “4×” more effective than prior B&O buds
  • Wind-reduction plus 3-mic arrays per earpiece

On paper, this is a serious move for B&O earbuds. If noise cancelling and call clarity matter, this spec sheet puts Beo Grace up against the most capable ANC sets you can buy in the UAE today—think AirPods Pro and Sony’s WF line—both of which we rate highly in our buying guides.

Controls and smarts: tactile over touch

B&O swaps touch taps for force-sensing controls inside the aluminium tube, complete with audio feedback that mimics a click. There’s NearTap for quick volume changes: tap in front of your ear—right for louder, left for lower. TrueTransparency aims to let the world in without hiss. The software runs on the new Amadeus Platform, designed for updates.

  • Force-sensing button with haptic-style audio feedback
  • NearTap volume (tap near your ear)
  • TrueTransparency ambient mode
  • Platform designed to evolve with software updates

This should mean fewer mis-taps and more reliable control when you’re on the Metro or out running. If B&O keeps pushing features via updates, early buyers shouldn’t feel left behind.

Longevity and accessories: battery health and a leather pouch

B&O says its custom battery management, built with partner Breathe, has surpassed 2,000 charge cycles in internal testing—well above the ~500 cycles many consumer buds manage. There’s also a leather pouch in three colours—Infinite Black, Cranberry Red, Seashell Grey—that wraps around the case with a strap and clasp. Warranty is three years.

  • Claimed >2,000 charge-cycle durability (internal tests)
  • Optional leather pouch (3 colours)
  • 3-year warranty

If the charge-cycle claim holds in the real world, that’s meaningful for UAE buyers who use earbuds daily in summer heat. We’ll test that once retail units arrive. For now, if you want other premium options in market, check our “best earbuds in UAE” list and live deals hub for price context.
