ASUS has opened UAE pre-orders for the ProArt P16 and ProArt P14, two creator laptops built on NVIDIA’s RTX Spark platform. The P16 costs AED 16,499 and the P14 AED 12,999, and early buyers get a free ProArt Display PA248CRV monitor.

Both laptops will be available through the ASUS UAE eShop and major retailers. The monitor offer applies only during the pre-order phase, and ASUS hasn’t said when that ends or when stock ships locally. Globally, ASUS says pre-orders began on 7 October, with the first US units arriving on 16 October.

What RTX Spark brings

RTX Spark pairs a Blackwell RTX GPU with an NVIDIA Grace CPU, linked by NVLink-C2C. It supports up to 128GB of shared memory and, according to ASUS, up to 1 petaflop of AI performance. The pitch is memory headroom: large language models and image or video generation pipelines can run on the laptop instead of in the cloud. Whether a given model fits still depends on its size, quantisation, context length, and the memory configuration you buy.

ASUS also lists privacy and cost among the benefits. Prompts and project files stay on the device, supported tasks work offline, and local runs carry no per-use cloud charges. Cloud services remain an option for heavier jobs. RTX Spark has already turned up in Acer’s compact desktop and Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Ultra.

Both screens run at 120Hz, though display specs vary by configuration. ASUS hasn’t published UAE memory and storage configurations for each price.

On the software side, ASUS bundles MuseTree for AI image generation and StoryCube, which recognises scenes to organise photos and videos. The company also works with ComfyUI, a visual workflow builder for image and video generation, and Hermes Agent from Nous Research, an assistant that can work with apps and local files.

The free monitor and warranty

The PA248CRV is a 24.1-inch, 1920 × 1200 IPS display with a 16:10 ratio. ASUS lists 97% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB coverage, factory calibration with a Delta E below 2, and USB-C with up to 96W Power Delivery, so one cable carries video and power.

Eligible laptops bought through authorised UAE channels also include ASUS Perfect Warranty at no extra charge. It covers accidental damage such as drops, spills and electrical surges for one year from purchase, subject to registration and programme terms.

Which ProArt laptop is cheaper in the UAE?

The ProArt P14 is AED 4,500 cheaper than the P16, at AED 12,999 against AED 16,499. It’s also lighter, at 1.48kg against 1.77kg.

Do I get the free monitor with any purchase?

No. It comes with the ProArt P16 or P14 only during the pre-order phase. ASUS hasn’t given an end date.

Can these laptops run AI models without internet?

ASUS says supported AI tasks can run on the laptop itself and work offline. Larger models need enough unified memory, so the configuration matters.
