Anghami and OSN+ are partnering with OKX to give eligible customers six months of Anghami Plus and OSN+ subscription benefits across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the Levant.
The announcement covers more than the subscription offer. The companies also plan Anghami × OKX Music Sessions with regional artists, watch parties around selected OSN+ releases, and a thought-leadership series about entertainment, finance and technology. Details including participating artists, titles, venues and dates have not been announced.
Anghami OKX partnership covers four MENA markets
The offer is aimed at OKX customers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the Levant. The release does not state how customers will redeem the subscriptions, which plans qualify, or whether the six months applies to new users only.
Anghami says its combined entertainment business has more than 120 million registered users and 2.5 million paid subscribers. The group also lists more than 18,000 hours of video content and over 100 million songs and podcasts across its services. Anghami’s official site lists its subscription features, but not the terms of this promotion. The company’s investor relations page also carries corporate information, but not the promotion’s redemption rules. The Anghami OKX partnership does not yet include a public redemption page.
OSN+ and Anghami already operate together after their April 2024 merger. The partnership follows another regional bundling push covered in our report on Samsung StreamPass in the UAE, which included both services alongside other streaming platforms.
What happens next for OSN+ and Anghami users
Further details on the OKX promotion and the planned activations are due later. The release describes OKX as a crypto trading and fintech platform, and says access remains subject to regional regulatory requirements and restrictions.
The offer is therefore announced, but its local terms are not. UAE customers will need to wait for the redemption process and eligibility rules before deciding whether six months of either service is included for them.
