Disney confirmed the date and showed the first teaser at the D23 Disney Entertainment Showcase in Anaheim on Friday night, part of a weekend of reveals that also covered films and other Star Wars series. The season arrives more than three years after Season 1 launched in August 2023; until now, Disney had only committed to early 2027.
