Adobe Premiere Android is now available as a free download, giving Android users layered video editing, 4K exports and no watermark. Adobe’s mobile editor arrives months after the iPhone version and works on phones running Android 13 or newer with at least 5GB of RAM.
The app is aimed at quick edits as much as longer projects. Its multi-track timeline supports video, music, voiceovers, text and effects, while a built-in voice recorder lets creators add narration without leaving the project. Adobe also includes one-tap audio enhancement for reducing background noise and cleaning up voice recordings.
What Adobe Premiere Android includes
Adobe Premiere Android includes creator-made templates, transitions, effects and Adobe Stock assets. The app is also designed for foldable phones, with layouts that make use of larger displays rather than simply stretching a portrait interface across them. Wired reports that Adobe has also built layouts for standard candy-bar phones and foldables.
Exports are available at up to 4K resolution, and Adobe does not add a watermark. The core editor is free, with optional purchases for extra generative credits and storage. Adobe’s mobile app therefore keeps the basic editing tools outside a Creative Cloud subscription, while its Firefly-powered features remain the part most likely to involve a paid limit.
The Android release does not include every feature Adobe has discussed for the wider mobile app. Adobe says support for Adobe Fonts, project transfer to Premiere on desktop, beat detection, cropping and other tools are still coming. Desktop editors will need to wait for project hand-off rather than starting on a phone and finishing on a computer today.

The app requires Android 13 or later and at least 5GB of RAM. Adobe Premiere Android is available now through Google Play, although device compatibility can still vary by handset and region. There is no UAE-specific pricing to report because the core app is free; paid generative features and storage may vary by account and market.
Adobe’s Android launch follows the company’s move away from Premiere Rush, which is scheduled to stop being available on September 30, 2026. The new Premiere app is the replacement Adobe is putting in front of mobile editors, with a much wider feature set and fewer reasons to leave the phone before an export is finished.
