Adobe is bringing Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Express and Firefly tools into Google Gemini, while adding Acrobat features to its existing Adobe connector for Claude. The expansion puts more of Adobe’s creative and document workflow inside two popular AI chats, without requiring users to start in a separate app.
The move follows Adobe’s earlier plan to bring its creative connector to Gemini, announced in Adobe’s May update. The new tools are now available to Gemini users across all plans, according to 9to5Mac’s report. The Adobe Gemini integration is designed to keep routine image and campaign work inside the chat.
Adobe Gemini tools are aimed at repeatable content work
In Gemini, users can ask Adobe to improve photos, create marketing assets and adapt designs without leaving the conversation. Adobe says its tools can produce consistent product photography by adjusting lighting, colour and cropping across a collection, then create social-ready versions while preserving branding and messaging.
Users can also ask Adobe Express to find and customise templates for a campaign. The workflow is aimed at the repetitive jobs around a finished asset: resizing it, changing copy and preparing variations for different channels. Adobe previously described the connector as an agent that selects the right tools and steps while the user remains in control.
That extends Adobe’s push into chat-based creative work, following Adobe for Slack’s arrival with more than 70 tools and Photoshop’s optional AI Assisted Editor mode.
Acrobat gives Claude a document-workflow upgrade
Adobe is adding Acrobat tools to its connector across Claude and Claude Code on desktop, web and mobile. Users can delete, combine or split PDF pages, redact sensitive information, and convert or export files to other formats.
A new interactive editor provides more control over PDFs, including text edits, page reordering, comments and highlights. Adobe also says Claude can use a Document Review skill to analyse a file and add recommendations or notes directly in the editor.
Claude’s Adobe workflow also gains a layer-based editor for Express designs. Users can adjust images, copy, colours and fonts separately instead of regenerating an entire design. That is useful for teams adapting approved creative, where changing one line should not require rebuilding the whole thing.
For UAE creators and businesses, the practical question is access rather than local pricing: Adobe and Google have not announced a separate UAE rollout or price for these integrations. Users can start from Gemini’s Connected Apps area or the Adobe plugin in Claude, then sign in with an Adobe account for higher limits and continuity across sessions.
Do these integrations replace Photoshop or Acrobat?
