The Xbox Games Showcase 2026 has wrapped up, giving us a clearer look at what Microsoft and its partners have lined up for the coming months and beyond.
This year's event carried a little more weight than usual. Xbox is celebrating its 25th anniversary, while the company also used the showcase to clarify that it is not abandoning console exclusives entirely. Microsoft confirmed that Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution will be Xbox console exclusive rather than timed exclusives, even as several other first-party games continue to launch across Xbox, PC and Playstation.
The showcase itself covered a lot of ground. We saw the first gameplay footage from Gears of War: E-Day, a release date for Halo: Campaign Evolved, a proper reveal for Persona 6, the return of Spyro, a new Metro game and fresh looks at several games that have been quiet for a while.
Xbox also announced the translucent green Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition and the matching Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition, both inspired by the original Xbox console and launching in select markets in November.
Here is every game announced or shown during the Xbox Games Showcase 2026.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 made an appearance with the first look at its new version of DMZ. The extraction-based mode places players in a volatile conflict zone where they can deploy alone or with a squad, recover military technology and extract with whatever they manage to carry out.
The trailer leaned heavily into the unpredictability of each deployment, with opportunities to fight, negotiate or betray other players depending on how a run unfolds. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23.
Clockwork Revolution
Clockwork Revolution returned with another substantial trailer showing more of inXile Entertainment’s time-bending steampunk RPG.
The trailer introduced Morgan’s gang, the Rotten Row Hooligans, as a heist goes wrong and places the group on a collision course with Lady Ironwood. Morgan eventually discovers the Chronometer, a device that allows players to travel into the past and make choices that reshape the future.
Clockwork Revolution does not have a confirmed release date yet, but Microsoft confirmed that it will be an Xbox console exclusive rather than a timed exclusive.
