World of Warcraft: Forever launches November 4, adding a third permanent version of Azeroth alongside Modern and Classic WoW. Blizzard will open the beta on September 17, while UAE players with an active subscription or Game Time can play the base experience without buying it separately. Blizzard’s announcement confirms the dates and access terms.

What is World of Warcraft Forever?

World of Warcraft Forever is set after Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and before the original game’s Molten Core era. It returns players to the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, keeps progression at level 60 and expands the original world rather than moving the story into another expansion.

Blizzard describes Forever as a permanent home alongside the modern game and WoW Classic. It is not a seasonal mode or a replacement for Classic. The pitch is familiar Azeroth with more room to explore, which is a sizeable request for a game that has already mapped most of it.

Blizzard’s panel recap confirms the wider launch plan, including new raids and PvP content.

New zones, quests and dungeons

The level 1–60 journey will include more than 1,000 new quests across new and reworked areas. Blizzard has highlighted Mount Hyjal, Shen’dralas, the Riverglades and Zephras Isle, the starting area for the new Skyborne race.

Skyborne characters can join either faction. Horde-aligned characters can play Shaman, while Alliance-aligned characters can play Mage; both sides can also choose Warrior, Hunter, Rogue or Druid.

Forever will launch with nine new dungeons, including the Hall of Thanes beneath Ironforge, the Ruins of Lordaeron and Alcaz Prison. Blizzard has also announced Hyjal Summit and the Barrow Deeps as raids, plus the 15-vs-15 Darkspear Islands battleground.

The first new raids are planned for December 9. Blizzard says later updates will add more raids, dungeons, PvP content, world content, quests, Hardcore and a revamped iconic raid.

When does World of Warcraft Forever launch?

World of Warcraft Forever launches on November 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. PDT globally. The beta begins on September 17. Beta access is included with the Skyborne Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection, while the base game is included with an active World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time at launch.

For players in the UAE, that means an existing subscription or Game Time is enough to access Forever when it arrives. Blizzard’s announcement does not provide a verified UAE price for the optional upgrade packs, so there is no AED figure to quote yet.
