Indian releases feature across the UAE top 10

Drishyam: The Conclusion earned nearly twice the second-place Verity’s weekend gross. Tamil release Baththa also made the top 10 in seventh place, while Avarachan & Sons and Pradhama Drishtiya Kuttakkar charted ninth and tenth. Mojo’s supplied chart does not specify languages for the latter two films, so they are listed without a language label.

The new releases outside the top five included the Indian titles Sigma, Don’t Trouble the Trouble, Seven Seas Seven Hills, Anbil Avan and Acharya, alongside Jinn Seal and Prem Keetanu. Their grosses ranged from AED 84,071 for Sigma to AED 3,937 for Acharya. This continues the regional releases’ presence in the chart after Bethlehem Kudumba Unit led the UAE box office in August.

Among returning films, Resident Evil added AED 1.1 million in its third week to reach AED 9.8 million overall. Avengers: Endgame’s re-release rose 11.6% week on week, earning AED 943,766. Spider-Man: Brand New Day fell to 11th but has accumulated AED 68.4 million after ten weeks; The Odyssey is next at AED 55.3 million after twelve, following its earlier UAE chart run.

The top-10 figure is the combined weekend gross of the ten highest-ranked films, not the cumulative total for the number-one title. The AED totals use the dollar figures reported by Mojo and the UAE dirham’s fixed exchange rate. Comscore also publishes box-office analysis and cinema rankings, providing broader industry context for theatrical reporting.
