The series will track a crime journalist’s pursuit of a career-defining story. But she is caught between the powerful nexus of the police, the underworld, and the media and is charged with the murder of a fellow journalist. The series is inspired by real events and Jigna Vora’s book Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison. Written by Mrunmayee Lagoo Waikul and Mirat Trivedi, the human drama features a talented cast, including Karishma Tanna, Harman Baweja, Ravi Mahashabde, Zeeshan Aayub, and Prosenjit Chatterjee. The series is directed by the hot-shot Hansal Mehta, whose previous outing, Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, was a big success.
Kathal – A Jackfruit Mystery

Starring Sanya Malhotra, Rajpal Yadav and Anant Joshi in the leads, Kathal: A Jackfruit Mystery is said to be a quirky comedy by Ektaa Kapoor and Oscar winner filmmaker Guneet Monga. The satirical film, directed by Yashowardhan Mishra, stars Sanya Malhotra as a cop tasked with finding two missing jackfruits. Inspired by true events, the story is set in a fictional town called Moba.
The film also features Vijay Raaz, Anant Joshi, Rajpal Yadav, and Neha Saraf in pivotal roles. The story revolves around the theft of two jackfruits from a local politician’s garden and the young, ambitious police officer who must solve the mystery.
Thiruvin Kural
Genre: Drama | Language: Tamil | Rating: PG15
The film is about a man with hearing and speech impediments who has a temper. His ear problem serves as the central conflict. His father’s life, as well as his own, is at risk due to an accident at a construction site. The plot centres on how he defends both himself and his father while dealing with his illness.
The film, directed by Harish Prabhu NS, has Arulnithi and Aathmika in the lead, while Bharathiraja plays the aged father character. Subatra Robert, Monekha Siva, Ashraf, AR Jeeva, Harish Somasundaram, Mahendran and Mullaiarasi are also in the cast.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar

Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is a romantic comedy. The two characters fall in love but struggle to break up, as difficult situations hamstring them. Directed by Luv Ranjan, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar also stars Anubhav Singh Bassi in a crucial role. Luv Ranjan and T-Series jointly bankroll Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The music is by Pritam.
The film, during its theatrical run, saw mixed reviews. But the on-screen chemistry of the lead pair came in for praise.

Dasara

This Nani and Keerthi Suresh period drama film is set against the Singareni coal mines near Godavarikhani in Telangana. Helmed by debutant Srikanth Odela, Dasara had a mixed response in its theatrical run. Produced by SLV Cinemas, the film is written by Jella Srinath, Arjuna Paturi, and Vamsi Krishna.
Dasara also features Prakash Raj, Samuthirakani, Deekshith Shetty, Rajendra Prasad, Sai Kumar, Zarina Wahab, Meera Jasmine, Roshan Mathew, Shamna Kasim, and others in supporting roles. Santhosh Narayanan has composed the songs and original score.
Indian Matchmaking

The reality television series follows matchmaker Sima Taparia, better known as Sima Aunty, as she guides clients around the world in the arranged marriage process. The docuseries will again follow a group of South Asian singles in India and across the diaspora searching for their spouses.
This season, Sima meets up with fellow matchmakers, some of whom are utilizing dating apps to make finding love just one swipe away. There will be eight episodes, and Smriti Mundhra has created the show. Along with the couple Viral and Aashay, Rushali from season 1 and Priya from season 2, some other new faces will also join the show.
Tooth Pari: When Love Bites

A rebellious vampire with a broken tooth falls in love with a shy dentist in Kolkata. Can the human and the spectral being ever get together in life? This is the plot of this new series Tooth Pari: When Love Bites. Directed by Pratim Dasgupta, the show stars Shantanu Maheshwari, Tanya Maniktala, Sikandar Kher, Revathy, Tillotama Shome, Saswata Chatterjee, and Adil Hussain, among others.
Kannai Nambathey

Starring Udhayanidhi Stalin and Aathmika, Kannai Nambathey was a box-office dud. It also features Bhumika, Prasanna, Srikanth, Vasundhara Kashyap, Sathish, Subiksha Krishnan, Pala Karuppiah, G Marimuthu, Sendrayan, and G Gnanasambandam. Mu Maran is the writer and director of Kannai Nambathey. The story is action and suspense-based.
IRL: In Real Love
Genre: Reality Dating | Language: English/Hindi | Rating: 18TC
This reality series is a social experiment with four eligible singles. IRL – In Real Love! is a dating reality show hosted by Rannvijay Singha and Gauahar Khan. Directed by Tanya Bami, the series tries to figure out what happens when traditional dating meets digital dating.
The four eligible singles make connections and take each other out on dates. They also have fun with each other in multiple groups, such as dancing, playing Holi together and more. The show gives its contestants a chance to explore love while also offering to the viewer’s plenty of drama.
Shehzada

This is the remake of Allu Arjun’s rollicking 2020 Telugu hit Ala Vainkunthapurramuloo.The film stars Kartik Aryan and Kirti Sanon in the leads. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film also stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar. The music for the movie has been composed by Pritam. Kartik is also a co-producer of the film. The film did average business at the box office during its theatrical run.
Amigos
Genre: Action | Language: Telugu | Rating: UA
Written and directed by Rajendra Reddy, Amigos stars Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Ashika Ranganath, Bhramaji, Saptagiri and others. Kalyan Ram acts in a triple role. The story is about three lookalikes who are incredibly different from each other and yet connected irrevocably by chance. The film did not do all that well in the theatres. Kalyan Ram’s previous film Bimbisara was a smashing hit.
Cirkus
Genre: Action, Comedy | Language: Hindi | Rating: UA
Actor Ranveer Singh and director Rohit Shetty. You don’t get bigger names in Bollywood than the duo. The hot-shot combo re-united for commercial family entertainer Cirkus, which is the first time Ranveer is doing an out-and-out comedy role along with playing a double role.
The film’s story is mostly about comedy of errors due to identity mistakes. Cirkus also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma. Rohit Shetty and Ranveer had previously worked together in Simmba and Sooryavanshi.
