Based on Fallout 3, the show is set “two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind – and are shocked to discover an incredibly comp[lex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.”
The trailer debuted during the CCXP’s Fallout panel in Brazil, which featured executive producer and director Jonathan Nolan, executive producer and co-showrunner Graham Wagner, and the show’s lead actors Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins.
Expectedly, the trailer shows glimpses of the post-apocalyptic wasteland, with several iconic imagery from the games, including the vault, power armor, Mister Handy robot, the adorable companion dog, and of course, plenty of nuclear explosions.
Fallout is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on April 12, 2024.
