Disney+ has revealed that Pixar’s animated smash hit, Elemental, will release on September 13 on the streaming platform. The film, set in Element City, where fire, water, Earth, and air-like residents live together, will also be available in Arabic.

Elemental was released in June of this year and quickly became one of the highest-grossing films worldwide, earning $480m in the global box office. The film follows the story of Ember, a fire-like being whose unexpected friendship with Wade, a happy-go-lucky water-like being, challenges her beliefs about the world and how everyone can co-exist together if they can embrace their differences. The movie was directed by Peter Sohn, and features voice talent from Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie.

Along with the film, Disney+ will also release ‘Good Chemistry: The Story of Elemental’, taking viewers on a humorous personal journey of director Peter Sohn, whose life story inspired the movie’s creation.
Along with that, subscribers can also catch ‘Carl’s Date Dug Days’, a short film directed and written by Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Bob Peterson, which follows the fan-favourite talking dog Dug, who decides to on a date with a lady friend but has no idea how dating works these days!
