The film is directed by Laxman Utekar, who previously helmed the Kriti Sanon starrer Mimi (2021)—Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal star in the leads. Sharib Hashmi, Sushmita Mukherjee, Rakesh Bedi, Inaamulhaq and Neeraj Sood are also in the cast.

Starring Nimrat Kaur as the school counsellor, the series also has Varin Roopani, Divyansh Dwivedi, Aryan Singh Ahlawat, Hemant Kher, Parthiv Shetty, Adrija Sinha, and Aalekh Kapoor in prominent roles. Based on true events, this show unveils what goes on behind the closed doors of boarding schools. It was created by Ishani Banerjee and Avinash Arun Dhaware, and directed by Avinash Arun Dhaware.
Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai

The film written by Deepak Kingrani is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki. The film, which is a direct OTT release, stars Manoj Bajpayee as the lead and also features Surya Mohan Kulshrestha, Adrija Singh, Jai Hind Kumar, Durga Sharma, Vipin Sharma, Abhijeet Lahiri, Vivek Tandon, and Balaji Lakshminarasimhan.
City Of Dreams season 3

The third season of creator-writer Nagesh Kukunoor’s political family drama City of Dreams is all set to stream. Starring Atul Kulkarni, Priya Bapat, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Eijaz Khan, and others, the series follows the story of father and daughter Ameya Rao Gaikwad and Poornima Gaikwad, their political ambitions, and the cost of playing this power game.
The new season focuses on the internal feud in the Gaikwad clan that takes an unexpected turn after a shocking event. The show’s first season came out in May 2019, and the second in July 2021.
Kathal – A Jackfruit Mystery

Starring Sanya Malhotra, Rajpal Yadav and Anant Joshi in the leads, Kathal: A Jackfruit Mystery is said to be a quirky comedy by Ektaa Kapoor and Oscar winner filmmaker Guneet Monga. The satirical film, directed by Yashowardhan Mishra, stars Sanya Malhotra as a cop tasked with finding two missing jackfruits. Inspired by true events, the story is set in a fictional town called Moba.
The film also features Vijay Raaz, Anant Joshi, Rajpal Yadav, and Neha Saraf in pivotal roles. The story revolves around the theft of two jackfruits from a local politician’s garden and the young, ambitious police officer who must solve the mystery.
Yeh Meri Family 2

This web series marks the OTT debut of TV actress Juhi Parmar. Set in the 1990s era in Lucknow, the series captures the essence of nostalgia with radio transistors, newspaperman, TV cable, two-wheelers, playing ludo with family and making the small moments count.
The story revolves around the Awasthi family and is narrated by 15-year-old Ritika (Hetal Gada), and the entire show is captured from her point of view. Directed by Mandar Kurundkar, the latest season comes with a new cast of Hetal Gada, Anngad Maaholay, Rajesh Kumar, Juhi Parmar and Veena Mehta.
Chatrapathi

Chatrapathi was a 2005 Telugu film written by V Vijayendra Prasad, and directed by his son SS Rajamouli. Starring Prabhas in the lead, it was a major hit. Now it is remade in Hindi under the same title. It is the story of a feud between two stepbrothers.
Son of a veteran Telugu film producer Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, who was introduced to Telugu cinema by VV Vinayak, is reuniting with the filmmaker again for his Hindi acting debut. Nushrratt Bharuccha plays the female lead in the action entertainer. Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Sahil Vaid, Shivam Patil, Mohammad Monajir, Auroshika Dey, Vedika Nawani, Jason, Bhagyashree, Sharad Kelkar and Karan Singh Chhabra are also in the cast. Vijayendra Prasad has penned the story of the Hindi remake as well.
Music School

Music School, as the name suggests, is all about music. Directed by civil service officer-turned-filmmaker Paparao Biyyala, the movie deals with the academic pressure faced by young students from society, parents and teachers. The film has eleven songs in all. And it includes three songs (officially obtained) from The Sound of Music – Do Re Mi, So Long Farewell and Sixteen Going on Seventeen.
Veteran composer Ilaiyaraaja has recreated the songs along with the London Philharmonic Orchestra to suit Indian sensibilities. The cast includes Shriya Saran, Sharman Joshi, Prakash Raj Ozu Barua, Gracy Goswamy Benjamin Gilani, Suhasini Mulay, Mona Ambeognkar, Leela Samson, Bugs Bhargava, Vinay Varma, Sreekanth Iyengar, Vaquar Sheikh and Phani. Popular singer Shaan is all set to make his acting debut in the film.
Dahaad

Actress Sonakshi Sinha is making her OTT debut with Dahaad. Set in Rajasthan, the series, created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, follows a police officer assigned the case of women committing suicide in public bathrooms. But are they suicides?
Dahaad also features Gulshan Devaiah, Sohum Shah and Vijay Varma in pivotal roles. The eight-episode series, directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, had its world premiere at the 2023 edition of the Berlinale International Film Festival in February.
Taj: Reign of Revenge Season 2

The saga of conflicts within the Mughal empire and the dynamics between emperor Akbar and his two sons is back for the second season. This season the focus is on the battle for the throne. Directed by Sankalp Reddy, IB 71 is based on the operation by IB sleuths who managed to lock the Indian air space, outsmart enemy establishments, and restrict their aeroplanes from flying over India in the 1971 war.
Vidyut Jammawal, known for doing action films like the Commando franchise and Khuda Haafiz, headlines the cast. It co-stars Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil, Vishal Jethwa, Niharica Raizada, Mir Sarwar, and Danny Sura. It is the first film of Jammwal’s production house, Action Hero Films. Gulshan Kumar, T-Series Film, and Reliance Entertainment present the film.
Afwaah

The lead cast of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bhumi Pednekar is the biggest talking point of this film. The Sudhir Mishra directorial also features Sharib Hashmi, Sumit Kaul and Sumeet Vyas. If you go by the promos, the dramatic thriller is about how social media can be used to instigate violence. It revolves around a top advertising professional and a political heiress caught up in a vicious rumour floated on social media.
Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo

Starring Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Angira Dhar and Isha Talwar in lead roles, this web series impishly subverts the ‘saas-bahu’ genre. If that was about power dynamics between tough, ruthless mothers-in-law and meek daughters-in-law, the new web series is about a hard-as-nails mother-in-law and a formidable younger woman.
Produced by Maddock Films, Saas, Bahu aur Flamingo is directed by Homi Adajania and features Ashish Verma, Varun Mitra, Udit Arora, Deepak Dobriyal and Monica Dogra in supporting roles.
Fireflies: Parth Aur Jugnu

Fireflies: Parth aur Jugnu explores themes like morality, mythology and mysticism as two young unlikely friends journey to protect a magical tree in a haunted forest. Directed by National Awardee Hemant Gaba, this project has roped in renowned mythologist and author Devdutt Pattanaik as the script consultant and American comic book writer who has worked extensively with DC and Marvel, Ron Marz as the script doctor.
The show banks on cutting-edge CGI shots and much of the show is filmed in the hills of Himachal Pradesh. The series stars Meet Mukhi, Aekam Binjwe, Madhoo Shah, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Luke Kenny, Akshat Singh, Zoya Afroz, Varun Kapoor, Harshit Bhojwani, Anaya Shivan, Riva Arora, Rahul Singh, and Hitesh Dave in key roles.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar

Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is a romantic comedy. The two characters fall in love but struggle to break up as difficult situations hamstring them. Directed by Luv Ranjan, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar also stars Anubhav Singh Bassi in a crucial role. Luv Ranjan and T-Series jointly bankroll Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The music is by Pritam. The film, during its theatrical run, saw mixed reviews. But the on-screen chemistry of the lead pair came in for praise.
U-Turn

Produced by Ektaa Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, this thriller is directed by first-time filmmaker Arif Khan. The Hindi-language movie is a remake of a Kannada thriller of the same title that featured actress Shraddha Srinath in the lead.
The original 2016 movie revolved around the death of motorists who broke a traffic rule at a flyover and the subsequent cracking down on the culprit by an intern journalist and police inspector duo. The film stars Alaya F, Priyanshu Painyuli, Aashim Gulati, Rajesh Sharma, Shreedhar Dubey, Sahil Takhi and Apoorva Suman.
Mrs. Undercover

This film is a remake of the 2019 Tamil hit Thadam and is helmed by debutant director Vardhan Ketkar. The film features Aditya Roy Kapoor in a double role for the first time in his career. The murder investigation of a young man takes an unexpected turn when the cops discover that the prime suspect has a lookalike. The confusion is further confounded due to their backstories. Apart from Aditya Roy Kapur, the film features Mrunal Thakur, Ronit Roy, Vedika Pinto, Mohit Anand, Deepak Kalra and Navneet Kaur Thind.
IRL: In Real Love

This reality series is a social experiment with four eligible singles. IRL – In Real Love! is a dating reality show that is hosted by Rannvijay Singha and Gauahar Khan. Directed by Tanya Bami, the series tries to figure out what happens when traditional dating meets digital dating. The four eligible singles make connections and take each other out on dates. They also have fun with each other in multiple groups, such as dancing, playing Holi together and more. The show gives its contestants a chance to explore love while also offering to the viewers’ plenty of drama.
Jubilee

Created and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, this series features Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurrana, Ram Kapoor, Sidhant Gupta, and Wamiqa Gabbi, among others. The series showcases the allure and extravaganza of the Bollywood of the yore with warts and all. Set in the times of India’s independence and the years following that, it tells the story of a studio boss, his movie-star wife, a rising star, a dancer, and a refugee. The first part of the series will premiere on April 7, and a five-episode second part will be released on April 14.
Bholaa

A remake of the highly successful Tamil film Kaithi, Bholaa stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, and Gajraj Rao. Ajay Devgn is not just playing the lead in the movie but has also directed the film. This is his fourth film as a director.
The story is about an ex-convict who is on the way to meet his daughter for the first time upon his release. But en route, he gets caught in a face-off between police and the drug mafia. The original, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, got rave reviews for its slick, raw action sequences. The Hindi film is being released in a 3D version too.
Shehzada

This is the remake of Allu Arjun’s 2020 Telugu hit Ala Vainkunthapurramuloo. The film stars Kartik Aryan and Kirti Sanon as the leads. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film also stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar. The music for the movie was composed by Pritam. Kartik is also a co-producer of the film. The film did average business at the box office during its theatrical run.
Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat

Starring Alaya F and newcomer Karan Mehta, the musical romantic drama did not do all that well in its theatrical run. The film depicts two unrequited love stories that face social barriers. Vicky Kaushal appears in a special cameo role. The film is written and directed by Anurag Kashyap.
Bheed

Bheed is a socio-political drama that has created a stir as it is about the plight of workers who had to trek enormous distances to return to their homes after the lockdown was announced. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Dia Mirza and Ashutosh Rana, among others. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, who specializes in such hot-button topics, the movie follows a police officer conflicted between duty and his conscience during the pandemic.
Pathaan
Platform: Prime Video | Release Date: 22/03/2023 | Genre: Action | Rating: UA13+
This is Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after a gap of five years. The film, a typical action adventure involving an Indian spy, is directed by Siddharth Anand (who has made films like Bang Bang and War before). Deepika Padukone is the female lead, while John Abraham plays the antagonist in Pathaan.
Ashutosh Rana, Dimple Kapadia, Siddhant Ghegadmal and Gautam Rode are also in the cast. The film’s music is composed by Vishal–Shekhar, and the score is composed by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara. The film was a big box-office success when released in the last week of January.
