Design and Display
The Vivo Y36 has a boxy design, which gives it a premium look. It boasts a 6.64-inch FHD+ LCD display that curves at the phone’s edges beautifully and can refresh up to 90Hz. Therefore, all the scrolling will be smooth, and you will be able to play many games without feeling lag.
The display provides crisp and clear picture quality for movie watchers and offers 650 nits of maximum screen brightness. Yes, having an LCD display does not make it the best in the class compared to OLED and AMOLED, but the display is a bargain for the price.
The Vivo Y36 comes in two colour variants: Vibrant Gold and Meteor Black. It offers a “Fantasy Frame” on the camera ring that produces a rainbow-ish colour when light reflects on it from different angles.
Features and performance
The Vivo Y36 uses the Snapdragon 680 processor and offers two ROM options. You get 8GB of RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

It also offers a RAM extender that can extend RAM up to an additional 8GB when you’re running demanding tasks like gaming.
The gaming experience should be smooth without lag or stuttering, and you can even play BGMI at high settings, which is quite outstanding for the price the phone will be available at.
The phone also has the latest Android 13, with a Funtouch OS skin on top.
Cameras
The Vivo Y36 offers a 50 MP primary camera and a 2 MP Bokeh+Macro camera as a secondary camera. On the front, you get a 16 MP front shooter.

The camera offers all standard camera features, such as Night mode, Portrait mode, Live Photo, Slow-Mo, and plenty more.
Apart from this information, Vivo hasn’t released much information about cameras.
Battery & Charging
The Y36 packs a 5000 mAh battery with a 44W charger in the box that can charge 30% of the battery within 15 minutes. There is an option to reverse charge as well but you won’t find wireless charging.

The Honor X8A can be dubbed as the Jack of all trades and master of none. It provides you with everything you’ll need without mastering any. The phone has a beautiful design that shimmers in direct light and is one of the best-looking budget phones. The Mediatek Helio G88 has decent performance in web browsing and other light tasks, but don’t expect the Honor X8A to wear any performance crowns.
